In 2008 I bought a rain suit at a flea market for $25. Thick yellow with top and bottoms. Used it for 11 years doing service work - had to work on rooftop units in the rain so long as no lightning was around. Used it running hotshot and will use it with my flatbed. Still as good as new. I don't remember the brand name but it's obviously very good quality. Only thing I don't like about it is you will certainly sweat in it!

Hi Mr Sturgell, just wondering if 53ft flatbed trailer with spread axle is legal. 43 to center of rear axle is their max, and that is when I make tandem axle.

@@AhmedYusuf-q3e in most states some states like Florida you need a permit if you’re going to spread them out some states like California it has to be a California spread which we don’t have every state differs

@sturgelltruckingllc4074 Thanks for the reply, but I forgot the key point of my question, which was in Indiana state. It has a maximum of 43 from King pin to center of the rear axle, not the center of tandem. If I spread it, it will be 47 ft. Thanks for your time

@@AhmedYusuf-q3e I run Indiana all the time with no issues, I don’t think it’s 47 feet from the kingpin to the center of the rear axle on our trailers. I’ve never measured it, but I don’t think that’s correct. Either way I’ve never been bothered at any scale in Indiana

@@AhmedYusuf-q3e i’ll measure it and check it out myself. I can tell you this they must not enforce it because I’ve never been bothered nor have I heard anybody else being bothered about it.
