I just formatted to the standard mac fileformat. But honestly I never noticed much difference between the formats. Sometimes I dont format or even check my ssds, i just use as they are

Sure. I have two of them. Love them. Small, light and dont get hot like my samsung t7 ssds

Here is my experience with the X6. I bought the X6 4TB which cost me $569 CAD!!!! First time buyer of Crucial product. The one I received clocked about 35MB/s, more than 25 times slower than advertised. So ok, I have a defective unit. I contacted Crucial and after a bit they agreed to send me a new one. Except, when it arrived, I had to pay for duties because they put the full value on the invoice, which cost me another $90. This was not what I experienced with returns from other companies over the years, where it is usually indicated that this is a replacement for a defective unit. So I called the company and was told it is "company policy". So ok, another $90n bucks gone, but at least I have a new working unit; WRONG!!!! The new unit was the same as the old one. So after almost $700, I am stuck with something that belongs in the garbage. Nice work, Crucial. I have tried on several computers, Lenovo(i7, 7th generation) win10, Surface Pro 6 with i7 win10, and another win7 desktop. So I downloaded the firmware thinking it could fix it. Both the online version and the iso version couldn't even find the X6 when it was connected. I don't know what to do now....

Thats weird. I have two crucial 4tb. And they work great. More reliable than my samsung t7s. To bad they didnt work well for you.

@@TSTechGear Thanks for the reply. Guess I have been unlucky as hell to get another bad one as a replacement. I am giving up on Crucial. If the return hadn't cost me another $90, I could go through the procedure again, but I am not going to throw any more money at this. This "Company policy" has discouraged me. (I am wondering if this may be the reason that they have this "policy" in the first place)

@@madouesca don't you have trade description laws in your country? The item has to do what was advertised or you are entitled to a correctly working replacement or a refund.
