Does it matter if it’s the crucible axe armor or does it have to be the crucible tree for the extra buff?

Sure is. Doesn't perform the spinning attack, but a single strike. Still powerful though.

Yes,i tried it with Greatsword (Guts') and its strong but i switched to Great Katana equiping the Ash of war
