Your videos made me passionate about playing Elden Ring again. It makes sense to start out melee build and switch to wizard build late into the game. The level 80 soft-cap makes it so that you're not missing out on as much damage if you invest into a lot of mind to get lots of FP, which is something you want on a pure wizard build.

You can stack stave effects. If you do the staff that improves sword sorcery with Lucats it stacks AND if you use the ice sword one with Ranni's hat in addition to the two staffs. All 3 will boost that version.

0:19 i agree with start shower being overtuned but there is actually a way to dodge it, and is the same as pre-nerf stars of ruin the thing is that the timing is a bit tricky and you need to dodge sideways, wait for the first bullet of star shower and dodge sideways left or right twice, but is hard to do it and very specific so it doesn't work always sadly

You can't invade in jarburg because it isn't a multiplayer area, which means you also can't invade from there either. You can go to the cliff at the very end where the large living jar is, but that's the only spot.

Fun video as always! You might want to consider adding Carian Greatsword into your spell line up. I'm pretty sure it has a true combo interaction with Carian Piercer where if you land Greatsword you can follow up into Piercer for a true combo, but only at max cast speed.

Do you have any tips for countering duel lance crouch poke builds? Ive tried fighting them on multiple different builds and i for the life of me cant seem to figure it out

Try rolling into the poke rather than away. Using something like gavel of haima as a mage or dual weilding bandit curve sword can easily put a poke build on the backstep. It really comes down to timing and reading faints. Alot of more professional dual lance players will faint attacks by wiggling at you while crouching trying to get you to spam dodge roll while the catch you as you roll out. The best counter to it in my experience is something that breaks stance and knocks them back. Fight aggression with aggression.

The way to dodge star shower is to roll right underneath the point where the stars spawn. Then again that's in 1v1s when you don't have 10,000 things to evade on top of that so *_*shrugs*_*

Not sure your odds of seeing this with 360 comments as of the time of writing, but if you're up for more Wizard, I have a kind of novel idea: bullet hell Wizard. The basic theory is that there are spells which fire multiple projectiles which have different delays, and that if you play around with the ranges and cast sequences, you can achieve a combination of delays that in fact leaves no proper window to dodge. So the build would be like Glintstone Phalanx (which you can selectively fire off by advancing with your back to people when in range), Magic Glintblade, Rykard's Rancor, and Star Shower, weaving in the occasional Swift Shard to keep up pressure, or Comet when panic rolling depletes their stamina =3
