Cruden Bay w LPGA Caddie Matthew Galloway // Scotland Ep. 9

Erik Anders Lang finally picks up a full-time caddie for the trip when LPGA vet Matthew Galloway joins the crew. Matthew caddies for Michelle Wie, and with Wiezy on the bench at the time with an injury, Matt decides to loop a few holes in Scotland.
Erik's bag is significantly lighter than a tour pro's - so the guys set off for 36 holes around Murcar Links and Cruden Bay. Aberdeenshire is home to a number of great golf clubs, and these two are great examples of what Scottish links golf has to offer.
Also: Two locals join the guys for a game of golf, Erik receives a thoughtful Scottish gift, and fellow KZbinr Peter Finch finds his way up to Scotland.

This is definitely my least favourite links course in Scotland, with its narrow twisting fairways and postage-stamp greens sloping off in all directions that look more like an afterthought than a pin placement. The problem is the terrain, which is perhaps better suited to a MotoCross event than a links course. If you're looking for a course that enhances your game, this isn't it. Frustration hardly describes it!
