Stuart is hilarious. The Bear Grylls impression, American accent, and the lag swing to chunk tee shot has me cracking up. Good stuff as always guys!

Love the Kings Course. I remember the first time I played there thinking golf is so easy when the tee is like a snooker table and nailed first drive, of course it did not continue but an amazing place.

Another one I was waiting for - as I used to be a member at Gleneagles when I was a kid - but I enjoyed this video more because you played Comrie (I lived only 20miles from it but never played it!). A bit of a shame you never played the Queens that same afternoon in that particular weather/light - a very pretty course which looks "killer" when the sun goes down - but, maybe next time? They were my best memories of Gleneagles ... late Summer nights on the Queens playing matchplay against my Dad - all of the hotel guests having dinner and the course(s) deserted. The other standout memory was all of the gorse on the Kings back in those days ... So, losing 5 balls today would have equalled 10+ back then (where the Hotel management cleared the gorse in order to speed up play). The halfway house still packs a punch tho' ... Steak pie and HP sauce ... I'm sure Stuart Grylls foraged for that. Keep 'em coming.

In my city Gleneagles golf course is the fun little 9 hole sleeper course with a lot of character. And the fancy course down the road is the one Happy Gilmore fought Bob barker

The Kings has a great halfway house. I have played the Kings three times but never played Comrie (even though I used to live a fairly short drive away). Looks like I have missed out.

I believe Erik has been sober since he was 21. From the first episode of his podcast, he talks about paleo cookies and how he loves them, which makes sense now that I'm watching this video. But perhaps I'm wrong! Who knows.

I'm so frustrated watching this - on our Scotland golf trip we were booked at Gleneagles, and didn't play this course, but instead played the Centenary (Nicklaus course, played in the 2014 Ryder Cup) ... and I really didn't enjoy it. It didn't feel Scottish in ANY way, but this course would have been perfect. It was RIGHT THERE! Darnit.
@Gareeeh5 жыл бұрын
Yeah the PGA was built for tournament golf so is a bit meh to play on apart from recognising it as a Ryder Cup course. The Kings and Queens are equally awesome courses.

Who killed Colt ? You nearly did him Erik, imagine the call to his parents !! Its been very easy to see the madness sweeping over you all the last few films. It appears Scotland broke you all. In this one Stu foraged, I mean a Scotsman actually eating fruit (even if it was free). He's well and truly broken, esp as it wasn't deep fried. His impression was superb, it looks like you had such a great time despite it being very intense and overloaded with golf. 9 rounds in 12 days is the most I've done over in the US, it was hard work and that was with carts all the time. You guys beat that in less than a week and carried on for nearly a month ! Seriously impressed with your dedication to a lads golf holiday ! Best content around, might have to go down the road to Formby Hall in a few weeks to see you guys
