The 28mm is OK but a bit wide for me and I have the Q2 which is also 28mm.

Stunning camera... I’m a Leica film user ...MP and R7.. and not often tempted by Leica digital but this one in particular has really gotten to me ...as did the ME 220.... l like muted colours I guess.. no way could I afford one now though. Have fun with it and enjoy it.

I think my M10P Safari with its matching lenses is quite sufficient for me, but yours is a more limited edition and a sweet one as well.

@@austinroot6234 In all honesty, there is not a huge difference between the M10 and M10-P. If you are saving cash go for the M10. The M10 will be a nice jump from a M240 and a more creative device than the Q-P, imo.

Hi mate just replied to you on Dr John's channel a few mins ago, my son (who has covid at the minute) has got into photography recently, he's currently using a bridge camera and is heavily into photographing the moon, is there a good way to attach his camera to his telescope eyepiece for more detailed shots, his camera is kodak pix pro ps he's also been told a good mobile phone could do a better job

Hiya. Needs a good telephoto lens and big tip…use a tripod. Or the moon rarely looks round. Once the correct exposure is selected it should be ok. If the moon is overexposed you just see light and no detail. He could muck about shooting through the telescopic eyepiece and he might be lucky. But ideally a telephoto lens or set the camera on max zoom and use a tripod. 👍

@@CrueLoaf thanks man he has great pictures from his tripod and delayed capture from his camera but it was an amazing sight to view the peaks and troughs on the edge of the moon through the telescope, but he couldn't capture the detail on camera but I suppose having a lucky pop through the eyepiece will suffice, thanks anyway

Hopefully you're not disappointed by the M10-P as it has the same exact sensor as the M10 you have. I know you mentioned you didn't like the images the M10 produces as much as your M9. I am currently shooting with an M10 and I have really enjoyed it!

Yes thanks. The M10 sensor is better in low light than the M9 and is more adaptable to conditions. But on a good sunny day, my M9-P is my first choice. I think Leica are getting so perfect that there will soon no difference between an image taken from a Canon, a Nikon or a Leica.

What the hell are you on about? The featured camera M10-P Reporter was a new camera when I did this unboxing in 2021. Leica released the M11 in 2022. Check your dates. Plus the M range will always be classics.
