This is fascinating. At least as far as I know, we don't have anything like this in the US (but we really ought to). This strikes me as a terrific idea. The primary dog show only involves single examples of the breeds, but this is a competition of consistency -- can the breeder/owner create not just one excellent example of a particular breed but multiple examples? Any breeder/owner might get lucky once but it takes a lot more than luck to produce champion-quality results over and over again.

I like flat coated retrievers they remind me of a mix i had who had a square build like a lab coat like a golden retriever but black and a head that was wide like rottweiler and the muzzle is like a lab also had webbed feet and his temperament was almost exactly like the flat coats who lived to 11 years old and was healthy until he died because of the anesthesia from his bloat surgery and he was an outside dog i wasn't allowed to bring him inside though I did when my parents weren't home or when it rained since he was afraid of thunder because he went through the flood from 1995 i think but i was in 6th grade so i didn't have a choice but he had almost no vet care until i got a job in 2001 and i got a good brand of food and he got all his shots as well as well as vitamins and anything else i could afford but he had heartworms and I couldn't afford that it was why his heart stopped from the anesthesia i think but he survived the surgery itself but never woke up i didn't find out till after he was living with my grandparents then i didn't think he could handle being an apartment dog and he wasn't house trained my grandparents agreed to keep him he was always my sister's and mine so i asked her after i got a job for full ownership since she was still living with my mom when i had moved into my grandparent's house and she said yes

@@karinjohansson7262 Heavens above! How do you know repliers have no knowledge of dogs health?? The kennel club is forefront in eliminating health issues caused by breeders. Its some breeders that ignore the kennel club that cause health problems and they dont get as far as crufts. Blame the Chinese for creating pugs hundreds of years ago.

the cruft is one of the good things but respect only half because it does not have all the races even the canines of origin of this country of English even great britain do not traverse it therefore there too there is a misunderstanding for people who they proclaim canine lovers without counting the rest, personally the cruft is like all the other kennels, they love the breed but no longer make them despite the centenary creation of certain breeds so they are only half registered if not is worse and claims that it's official, colors, sizes and others and it's been going on for more than 50 years, long live the said adult
