both are the same car actually they have same engine same platform same gearbox same infotainment just depends on what you like suv or sedan, my personal choice would be virtus

Though you can do with some skills. But overtaking would be problem. Not recommended

I guess it would still be similar. If cruise is set within a gear range. What I mean is if gear is 5, you apply cruise and if speed falls below but still gear is not lowered, resume should work
