I have a drop deck longboard, a popsicle board and a dinghy and I would 100% pick the dinghy if I could only have 1. I took it out the first night and learned to healside/toeside powerslide to manage speed. Took me like a week to learn how to on my longboard. Out of all 3 boards the dinghy is also the easiest to slide/recover. Best skateboard I've ever had, hands down, it's incredibly fun.

Great explanations of the tricks and slides. I am getting back into skateboarding but I am going to get a Landyachtz cruiser. The tough part for me is trying to pick out a Landyachtz cruiser with the right wheels and trucks for me. I am definitely leaning towards a Dinghy Blunt or Tugboat. Now that I know there are many somewhat doable tricks out there for me I am probably leaning more towards the Dinghy Blunt over the Tugboat.

Switchblade is probably better for sliding, and also nice to cruise with because it's low to the ground. Go with that one, I love mine!

@@Juanjo191 I've ridden both and personally think the drop cat is better but thats just me
@justplainjosh3 жыл бұрын
I've ridden neither but I THINK that the Drop Cat is a bit better for cruising around but also great for learning to slide (it's a bit flexier so a nicer cruising/carving experience) while Switchblade is symmetrical which makes it nice for freeriding because you can ride it both ways, great for sliding, but stiffer so slightly less carvy. Still a great cruising board though, you can't go wrong with either
