@@WhiteLineFever1999 I got my cdl before going to cfi. Orientation wasn’t too bad, just a lot of info in a short amount of time. We were done by noon on the 4th day, and due to a lack of trainers we were all sent home on layover pay. I’m in a truck with a trainer now, having a blast! I’m set to be home with my own truck the second week of February. Orientation is definitely not something to be nervous or scared about. Everyone there is super nice, you can ask as many questions as you like. They provide transportation to and from the hotel for you. Free breakfast at the hotel, free lunch during orientation.

Actually from you explaining how CFI saw your video with the bad load and called you PERSONALLY to see how they can fix the problem, that definitely shows that they are a good company. Right now I'm a delivery driver for FedEx and really want to be in the trucking business and I'm definitely going to think about CFI after this video. Plus I like that 12mo tuition thing they offer. Those locks are good, but a crow bar will open ANY lock. trust me :) I looked and those locks are selling for 62 dollars on Amazon, so 50 bucks isnt bad for them. I assume the lock is the 330 lock as they make a few, the 350 lock on amazon is 125 bucks. That would really suck to have to replace something like that.

One thing I've learned in trucking is that some drivers are never happy. No matter what a company does, they find a reason to leave. Probably because they got into driving for the wrong reasons. I get that companies do some shady shit but alot of drivers are just childish and will leave at the slightest disagreement and end up in a company twice as bad as they try to justify their decision only to realize this later on.
