Dear Nancy and Mike, Sam here. Kelle and I watched Planes and Pizza video and are so thrilled how the Intrepid visit was for you! For us, it was a joyous day and wonderful to have met you. We are so looking forward to your next visit! By coincidence, I am at the museum tomorrow, January 25th, and my first stop is at Growler control center to share the video with Bill P. Thank you for the shout out for veterans who volunteer on the ship. It means the world to them for being recognized for their service! Sincerely, Sam and Kelle

That is so nice. It was such a pleasure to meet you both and you made our experience in New York the absolute best. We hope our paths cross again. If you’re in the Grand Rapids area, you know you’ve got to give us a call.😀

Ya gotta have a Nathan’s hot dog on Coney Island! A New York classic! And pizza at Lombardi’s on Spring Street. It dates back to 1905, and it’s the most amazing pizza in New York.

I absolutely agree and will do so when I get the chance!😀

Harry Potter used to be a two day play ! After COVID it was reduced to one long evening. Saw it with my niece.

Yeah we had a friend who saw it in London as the two-parter. It was a long evening but we highly highly enjoyed it

Lived in Coney Island as a teen. Ate at Nathan's often. Sadly it's not what it used to be. I worked in Times Square. It was fun to see this as part of the World Cruise.

My home town. Glad you had an enjoyable time. Don’t waste your time coming back for a good hot dog. Nathan’s in Coney Island is definitely not what it used to be.

Your trip to New York was similar to my first trip there 10 years ago. I watched the 4th of July fireworks on the Hudson from the deck of the Intrepid after a tour very similar to yours (I’m also an aviation geek). I had pizza at John’s on the recommendation from my hotel concierge and also had a bagel at Hudons’s, again on the concierge recommendation. I’m going to miss your cruise vlogs…only 2 more ports to go on my count (not counting Miami).

Glad you enjoyed NYC and Harry Potter on Broadway. Nancy, there are currently about 30 shows playing on Broadway and many others off Broadway. Mike, I think you would enjoy that Nathan’s Coney Island hot dog. Would you believe that I’ve lived here for over 60 years and never had Johns pizza or a Hudson bagel? But there is great pizza and bagels all over the outer boroughs of the city.
@livingphase29 күн бұрын
Oh, thank you for sharing this. We would love to come back and spend more time there and certainly see more shows. But that Harry Potter was just the neatest thing to see all the magic in it.

I absolutely hate New York City because everything is a rip off and expensive. 9 bucks for a hot dog sounds about right in NYC. Shame that they didn't dock in Boston. Would have been a much better experience.
