Did your World cruise include a drinks package? I started watching near the end of the voyage, and maybe missed that info. I've restarted from the beginning and am enjoying all your adventures.

Quite the adventure getting ready for a world cruise. My daughter & family went to live in Africa (US Embassy duty) for a couple of years, and were thankful the Embassy provided the anti-malaria meds for their family of 5. They did have to get a preliminary prescription and doses before they flew out, and were able to consult with a travel clinic here in Delaware. I had a lot of those shots in the US Military, but imagine many are out of date by a long stretch. Good conversation for my next regular appointment.

Love, love, love this! Were you tired after all that decorating? I'll be decorating my tree in a week or so. I set out all my decorations as close to the tree as possible, so I don't have to walk back and forth too much. I, too, have a bad knee, along with neck and back issues. I have had 2 cortisone shots since February and my knee felt almost 100% better for about 4 months after each. It’s starting to act up again, so I really need another one very soon.

Funny how this brought back so many great memories for me as well from just watching all your videos. I almost feel like I took the cruise with you guys. LOL Thank you for doing this, it was wonderful to watch.

I am one who collects magnets. My refrigerator is about full now though so I need to come up with an alternate way to display them. I am thinking a large magnetic board of some kind to hang on the wall maybe.

I have been collecting ornaments my whole life from places I visited and thoroughly enjoy the memories every year when I decorate the tree. Just a little tip, one year my tree actually fell over from the weight of the ornaments because it was in a corner and I didn't put anything on the back! You may want to attach the tree to the wall if that is the case with your tree!! Fortunately not a single one broke!! Looking forward to your upcoming adventures! Happy Thanksgiving.

Zermatt is an absolutely amazing place to visit, but then, so are many other parts of Switzerland. It’s worth exploring. 1.51 It’s possible to take a regular taxi from Täsch to Zermatt if the connecting road is open (it’s narrow & twisting, and can be blocked by snow or rock slides sometimes). You transfer to an electric taxi at the entrance to the town. It’s pretty expensive, but that’s the norm for taxis in Switzerland anyway… Gondola is pronounced with the emphasis on the “Gond” not the “ola”. We actually call them cable cars more than gondolas here. 13:21 Is it really a German bakery, not Swiss? 13:30 The graveyard is definitely worth visiting. I find it interesting that most of the climbers lost their lives on the descent. What’s especially sad is that some of the graves are for unknown climbers who were found and couldn’t be identified.

My favorites I've collected include a Pinocchio with jointed legs and a wooden nutcracker, both from Leavenworth, Washington State (a town made to look like a town somewhere in Bavaria). I started collecting second-hand license plates from ports on our last few cruises. By the way, are you cruising out of Seattle or Vancouver for your Alaska reunion cruise?

Barbados was really neat for snorkeling! We did one on our cruise and very much enjoyed it! Not as good as the Virgin Islands etc, but still really neat!
