Jim and Rosy, we really enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing. Re: Hotel Punta Chivato, fished a dorado tournament there in 1989. The hotel already had a history of closing for long periods. The road in is about 12 miles long if I recall correctly and at it’s worst it took me 3.5 hours to complete with a small boat in tow, thirty five years ago. Safe travels, always.

It's an "anchor buddy", available at marine stores, West Marine and Amazon. It's 50' long when stretched out.

Would you say the weather is a little different than Alaska? After all that time north have you acclimated to the heat?

Yes, I think we have acclimated, but it hasn't been that hot, in the mid 80's.
