Home2 Suites by Hilton (New York, Long Island City): impressions & review

Hey everyone! Home2 Suites by Hilton was a great stay! It left a great impression and did not disappoint. Right when I entered the staff was very professional and I was checked it very quickly. The hotel room was larger then I expected. I even got a goody bag because I am a Hilton Honors member :)

Room size looks great for its price and it seems you are in fact very close to Manhattan with the subway. Im a smoker, dont judge please, but did I see correctly they had ashtrays on the 7th floor patio? That would be great, were a bit of a dying breed (pun intended) and its great to see a hotel that actually has a place for us. But even without that it seems like a bang for your buck!

Hotel rates used to be higher after the pandemic. Would be cool to try this brand in the US if they have good rates 😉

The Bathroom &Kitchen area area really lovely..was not expecting a dishwasher though..lol. I'm a little disappointed with the bedroom area..would be nice for it to have something a little extra especially after cooking a nice meal to share with someone. The Lobby and other areas look rather clean and spacious...was wondering if this hotel is a budget hotel.

Hi Omari! I was also not expecting a dishwasher. I knew that I was getting a small kitchen area but the dishwasher was a great surprise! I agree with you about the bedroom area. With the kitchen being so nice it would also be great to have some kind of area to share with someone a meal even if the table is just for 2 people. The hotel is not a budget hotel but it has deals every once in a while.
