@entertainingvideos1351 that window was only made to withstand half of what they dived, it wasn't designed for deep sea diving, no tests had been done at that depth either. a company named Hydrospace made it

People just AREN'T getting this: Crush-depth implosions happen in milliseconds. That's thousands of a second. Signals running along your nerves can't go that fast. Your BRAIN can't process information that fast. There was no awareness. They were there one moment, and gone the next and literally never knew what hit them. That's what happens in implosions.

@@jb50-w3k You have to know exactly why this happened. Not only to build better submarines, but also to be able to apply the knowledge in other areas. I thought that was clear. And as I have already said, there are areas where not only millions can be saved, as here, but billions. Science, who needs something like that? Better billions for wars. This also explains the pitiful condition of humanity!

@@VornameNachname_001 you are a bit rude, no need for that, just have a polite conversation. It happened because the pressure was high and the design couldnt cope, end of story. Finding out why is not going help anyone but the few who can afford to spend money on trips like this. Who is ever going to use this design or any type of it again, would you ogo down in Mark 2 version? I woudlnt! The Navy have designs of subs sorted. this was a small private enterprise, I would not spend public money on an investogation, I would spend it on schools, or something like that. If the company who made the sub or the bereaved familes want to pay for the investigation then that is there choice but dont spend our tax on it. It is ok to have a difference of opinion, I respect yours.

Why do they keep calling them crew? They were passengers! It beggars belief how they thought that vessel was safe to submerge to those depths! The Frenchman did have experience of dividing to that depth which would have given the passengers misguided confidence in that vessel sadly.
