Crunchy Lofi Chill & Ambient Beats Using Cassette Tapes

Well, I did this livestream last sunday... the audio of me talking was completely out of sync with the video, so I removed it.
I still kinda like the super crunchy sound of this jam though, so here it is without any talking.

Love this:) I’ve been thinking about multiple loopers, with different length loops. Mix in multiple sequencers. Sync them and filter out transport on certain devices. Stagger the different lengths of loops and sequences. Fade them in and out. Opens the doors. Definitely gives you more arms. It also allows me to explore panning, placement and compression. Let each device breath with minimal roles for each. Let it all sing as a collective. Much love for helping inspire that process. This is magic:)

Glad you like it👍... It's about half from Splice (using their COSO app) and half stuff I've done in Ableton/Reaper/iOS apps etc. Whether it's original? Well, that's a good question. If I write a song on acoustic guitar, is that original? I think the method of production is pretty unique... Haven't seen any musicians or DJ's make music like this... But maybe I'm just deluding myself? I dunno really. But i do know it gets me in a meditative state 😉

Well, then I guess that I composed all the tracks from samples which I either selected from a library &re-recorded or recorded directly myself. Does that provide an answer?

Nah, it's recorded mixed together. So either the music is out of sync or the voice is... Also, I'm not really talking about the process of what I'm doing. I'm mostly just rambling about life, the universe and everything. You know?😉 But maybe i should do a livestream Q&A?
