I think you are wrong because Duke knows no matter what he tries Alicia would still do everything in her power to help the village. Also remember Alicia is a "Villainous" so of course she won't allow her opponents to gain a decisive victory over her in any battlefield. By interrupting the Kabedon she prevented Duke from gaining the lead in their war of love.

@@pappatill28barn88 the entire scene never happened, he never said he wants to lock her up, that scene was more flirty in the novel than him being yandere like it is here, he simply teased her a bit and she got blushed btw most of their scene in the novel when there are only 2 of them are like that, he acts cold, calm etc, tease her a bit about her feelings and she got blushed here its like a guy comes to a girl and says to her he wants to keep her in his basement, its creepy af seriously the more episodes comes out the less it has common with the novel
