@@smittywababla In general the animation serves its purposes, but it's still kinda simple. Just look at S2's walter park, most of the action scenes were static frames. I honestly thought that the harvest festival would suffer the same fate, but seeing bachiko's bow animated like that brings hope to my soul.

Fun fact: Bachiko is "zetsubou no hane-gui,roughly translated with proper context as something along the lines of 'despair-inducing devourer of wings';which is later on clearly explained since no demon can ever truly outrun an Archer,the only thing that awaits them is despair when their wings are pierced through, esp., if you're as good as Bachiko(hyaku-sha,hyaku-chū-a 100 out of 100 shots)

Friendly little tidbit about the series. There are 72 characters in this series that are named after the 72 demons in the Ars Goetia. Naberius, Stolas, Balam, Asmodeus, Sabnok, Valac. They're all in this series as students and teachers and their powers or design reflect their entries in the Lesser Key of Solomon. For example. Valac is described as angelic baby boy riding on a two headed dragon. He helps people find treasures. In the anime: Clara Valac rides around on two reptilian slippers and her bloodline magic produces anything that she sees. Better example: Sabnok is the weapon specialist of hell. Who's main job is to create towers and fill them with weapons. Sabnok Sabro has the ability to create weapons out of the material he munches on

More than evasion. Iruma has a hyper sense of imminent danger. He uses this to avoid said danger. But if he is physically incapable of avoiding said danger then he’d probably get hit. Not to get into spoiler territory, but there is an instance later on where rather than evade the danger he calls for help.
