Yuki’s wording is quite interesting honestly. She uses 愛しています (aishiteimasu), which is still “I love him” but not in the same sense as 好き(suki), which is effectively the same in English. 愛しています is very uncommon because it’s super heavy. It’s more like “I love you more than anything in the entire world,” which is something you’d more commonly use at like a wedding or something. For typical dating and romantic relationships 好き is used more commonly. I think she intentionally used that wording and her next phrase that she loves him more than her parents because she wants to push Alya into admitting her feelings, essentially strong arming her by admitting that she is her rival in love (ofc Alya doesn’t know that Yuki is Kuze’s sister). Japanese is so cool

I actually noticed this too when I was watching this episode but my understanding of the word “aishiteru” (or “aishiteimasu” in this case, but I’m guessing they are VERY similar to each other but I’m more familiar with “aishiteru”and I’m pretty sure she does say “aishiteru” at some point here) is that it’s more so used when referring to family. But of course I am definitely NOT an expert in Japanese so you can take what I say with a grain of salt.
