Well all 4 weapons are equal in strength with different pros/cons. If the other three learned how to use their weapons even half as well as Naofumi, they could have curb stomped these three. Instead Naofumi managed to outlast them here until time was up.

I thought the Light Novel did a nicer job showing this scene. In the Novel, Glass actually used her most powerful attack, called "Circle dance of nothingness -> Moon Break", and Naofumi still took damage even while using the Wrath shield. Afterwards, it says he looked back to survey the damage and the ocean was literally split in two from the force.

1:27 The luchol berries from two episodes ago utilized for the wave via turned to highly concentrated alcohol which when lit is hyper flammable but when someone is simply exposed to it via skin contact or strong smell, they are put into a high level drunk status which Naofumi is naturally immune to as seen two episodes ago where he ate three luchol berries and was unfazed. Just as he is apparently immune to all status debuffs.

Her people have IMMENSE spirit energy, but because their bodies are *technically* incorporeal, they cannot use other means of combat and are basically restricted to using 'Spirit Power' as their means of both offense and defense (aka the same energy that Heroes use to activate their special abilities). As such, the 'Soul Eater Shield' (which drains a person's SP) is doubly effective against her. Because it not only stops her from using her strongest techniques, but enough exposure to it would actually be quite lethal in her case, as her race is nothing BUT Spirit Power.

It was not shown on this clip but Naofumi was giving Glass the worst time of her life without the Rage or Wrath Shield. He was draining her with Soul Eater Shield which apparently has a life steal effect on her. But at the same time, Naofumi also caught a glimpse of Glass's world and that L'Arc and Therese were true to their word about their world also being plagued by the Waves. Knowing that, he is unwilling to kill them.

I hope they continue the story. There’s so much more to see. Eclair, Ost, Sadeena, the entire Spirit Tortoise Arc and going to another world, all of which lasted several volumes of the Light Novel. And of course, Naofumi obtaining a lot more slaves. We got a long ass way to go! Here’s hoping we get to continue this adventure with our favorite shield hero 🛡

I would have loved to see Blood Sacrifice and whatever Glass was about to use to clash with each other. That would have been epic! Still, great Season ending. Hope Season 2 isn't too far away!

I'd like to see that as well, but I think it's impossible, Glass' skill was a ranged projectile, Blood Sacrifice is a targeted skill, the most likely of outcomes is this: Naofumi would simply tank the shot and the dragon's jaws would eat Glass dead, since he already tanked that skill earlier with a weaker shield and she was being punished by Soul Eater, a "not-so-strong" shield compared to Wrath.

There’s a good chance she might survive long enough to kill. Remember she’s a Spirit Person and has Resistance to certain types of attacks, in exchange for weaknesses to others. Not to mention Blood Sacrifice requires him to bleed himself out like crazy, leaves him vulnerable for a few seconds, and the Dragon itself is vulnerable to outside damage. The LN hints that, if L’Arc didn’t step in, they’d end up killing each other.
