At that point you could just call it foreshadowing. Now, obviously, to do it right you have to be a little subtle, more like a reference for fans of the source material. As far as doing stuff never done in the show.....is that really a bad thing? You're pretty much asking for spoilers in your openings there.

This anime is cool, entertaining, thrilling, and mysterious, with a nice touch of cuteness in Tokaku and Haru’s romance. I mean the op says everything. Tokaku is cool, skilled, and mysterious, while Haru’s innocent, sweet, and soft. Even the ed is cool.

Sebastian is Bae Off the top of my head, the finale confrontation is pretty much the same except that they make it pretty clear they love each other. The "ending credits" only have minor differences as well. The major ones being that Haruki is opening dating Isuke, Banba is working in Sumireko house hold as a maid of some kind, and Nio begins the next class black. and the last 2 pages of the story depict Haru, now a fully realized... whatever she is (it isn't very clear, either a business woman or a crime boss) with Tokaku as her body guard. Tokaku straightens Haru's tie, they kiss, and it ends. Roll credits.

Its because the anime was so short to end the hole history,the relationship between them wasnt well explored,actually they didnt even showed to us their really relationship. Not just that,the anime wasted a lot of resources to explore,like tokaku's sensei conection with the dark room. It wasnt clear if the sensei with white hair was supposed to be a villain or something like that.

I just finished watching this anime today and it was pretty good, but the thing is I found how crazy the characters are pretty young like some of the characters are only 15! I just turned 16 recently and dang I can't even do half of the things they do , like its crazy I'm not complaining or anything, just amazed I thought the characters would be a bit older though (not like it would do anything to the plot I believe) but hey thats anime for you!

Same, but the anime ending was really the killer for me. The manga was in context but the anime was weak. Although it's yuri, I feel that in those circumstances (Tokako doesn't show many feelings through actions cuz she's trained to kill and act like that, thus allowing her yuri love for Haru to be expressed through trying to kill Haru to see if her love was only because of the Queen Bee power, which she finds out it isn't; that she truly does love Haru) it made a lot more sense, as unsatisfying as it is. At least it has context.
