Also if you read 9.5 y2 then you know that she has a strong desire to prove herself, a “natural genius” better than him, a “manufactured genius”. She is aiming to beat him which would be getting him expelled in many cases. Your interpretation of that bed scene is valid but it may not be the case also, she may just not fear what he can do to her as she can always get revenge through reporting him etc. I don’t think you’re completely wrong but you should be careful to think that Arisu wouldn’t do anything that would harm koji.

​@@bam-dh6tjI know but my interpretation of her not expelling him are because of 2 things volume 0 but second and most important is Ayanokoji literally helped Arisu's to get her job backed though he did it for his sake I believe she is at least grateful for that and I believe that what she really wants is to own Kiyotaka as her partner cause Arisu tough genius could never beat Kiyotaka physically. But Imagine having him as her partner with both their geniuses and Kiyotaka's physical powers. And if you know about the Ayanokoji Family and Sakayanagi Family then most things point towards that she wants him to be her and for that she will defeat him but never expell him.

It's actually a perfect plan when you realize the mental dynamics of this vote. Each person is worried that they're going to be the one ganged up on and expelled, so everyone is psychologically primed to seize onto anything that looks like someone *besides* them will get targeted. Yamauchi and others have been trying to assemble groups in secret to target a specific person, but Horikita openly proposing a target draws people in even more effectively through exploiting that desire each of them has to see someone, *anyone* besides themself chosen as the target. And once a couple of other people voice agreement with the idea, the momentum just builds. Now everyone sees targeting Yamauchi as their ticket to not being expelled, and he doesn't have any real allies who could upvote him enough to get him off the hook.

What I didn't get from the ep was how ayano-goat-ji managed to secure the top positive vote for himself? Here's how it went: ayano-goat-ji got Honami the 4mil points she needed to save everyone in class B Thus, Honami managed to get everyone in class B to give positive votes for ryuuen in class D. In turn in class D, manabe got axed. And in class A the bald guys subordinate got axed as well. And sakayanagi didn't vote positive for yamauchi. So how did the goat manage to get the positive votes?
