I'm not going to pretend that I had an overage of choice when I was younger, but I was cursed with being asked out by two girls less than a week apart: my childhood friend and another girl in our class that I had gotten close to. My childhood friend had asked me out first and I'd said yes; but if I'm being honest, I didn't think I had a chance for romance with her and was (pleasantly) surprised by her advances. I haven't seen an anime this gorgeous since the Aki scene from Chainsaw man. I saw this video and then immediately went and binged the 8 episodes that are out. Look at how they show a completely different angle of the same scene every few seconds. Those backgrounds are insanely good too. And the characters look so fluid. It's realism reminds me of Satoshi Kon. Also the plot is fantastic and deconstructs the romance genre as a whole. Go watch it
