I try to share this testimony with everybody, My sisters husband had a severe skiing accident slammed into a very large tree and busted his head open. Doctor said no brain function at all and she insisted on keeping him on life support. What many people don't know is your brain can heal itself, 3 months later to everybody's surprise he woke up. 2 years after that He was back to being an attorney in Montreal Canada. People give a hope too fast, God gave us this body and it can heal itself You can't just give up. I'm adding to this, One of the most important things about people in a state where they call it vegetate is talking to them holding their hands. My mother had a stroke and was in a coma for 3 weeks, about a year later when she came out of her coma and survived her brain surgery I asked her what she remembered last, She said I don't know what the last thing was but I remember feeling you touch me and I remember your voice and I wanted to go to you 💞

……yes, the restorative ability of the human body is fantastic! Just by watching this series’, & Helicopter ER, 999 Critical Condition, 999 On the Frontline, is a real eye-opener. Some folk come in ‘smashed’ so much, one would think they’d not survive. But they do, thanks to ALL the medical staff, & Technology who/which attends to them. Recently, I was hospitalised for an ulcerated, then infected, big left toe. It had gone from being ok, to red, & angry overnight, in 8 hours’. I went straight to my GP. One look at it, & he just said, extremely emphatically, ‘get thee to an A & E NOW! So I drove to my closest hospital, got seen to by a Dr, admitted, hooked up to IV antibiotics’, operated on next day, spent week there, then home wearing ‘clodhoppers’, with walking frame, & very strong tablets’, & bed-rested, weekly check-up appointments’, until was cleared by Ortho surgeon. From operation to clearance, was seven weeks’. My Podiatrist was amazed at my ‘speedy’ recovery. My toe was SO bad, that the Ortho discussed amputation, with me, on first up meeting me. That’s how quickly the infection spread. So I ‘dodged’ that, & sepsis, bc I’d acted so fast in getting to GP, then to A & E. So the moral of my story is to get to a Doctor, or an A & E ASAP, when there’s something ‘wrong’ with your body, & therefore, health………

You can tell the difference between people who get needles all the time and those who don't. The needle I hate the most is the Canula needle. They are uncomfotable going in and out. But I have had them quite a bit so it no longer bothers me much.

……that nurse’s summation in the Intro, was hilarious, as it was so TRUE! then she proceeded to say she can’t do a nail perforation, to release trapped blood! I found that REALLY funny, bc she probably faces multiple blood-related injuries’, daily. The blonde nurse who said when the ‘phone rings, ‘she hopes for something interesting to come in’, bit of gallows’ humour there, methinks. It’s akin to dialogue in first episode of wonderful UK crime drama, ‘Foyle’s War’, when DCS Foyle has newly appointed driver say to him, ‘where are we off to? Hope it’s a nice juicy Murder’………

In The Netherlands you can’t go to the Accident & Emergency just for a stitch! you first go to an out of hours doctor who decides if hospital is necessary. Other wise they stitch or glue it at the surgery. This is why the waiting hours are so long in the hospitals in the UK.
