Hi, I just discovered you a few days ago and have been watching your videos and love what you do with the glass. You are so very talented and creative and I would love to try some of the glass on glass creations. I just don't know why you do not sell your beautiful art. I will get up the courage to try something very soon.

Thanks so much! 😊 This is just a fun hobby for me. At this time I feel like it would be too stressful to mass produce things . I think if I was younger and I had discovered it I would have tried to make it into a business. Right now everything goes on my walls or to family and friends.

I've only recently come across your channel and I love your videos. Thank you for posting all of your ideas as well as tips and things to watch out for. I apologize if someone has already asked this in one of your videos, but have you had any problems with your crushed glass moving out as the mod podge continues to drain? If so, do you have any tips? I just tried my first project with crushed glass using a cute little llama cookie cutter but perhaps I didn't leave the cutter around the glass long enough as I was afraid it might dry to the cutter (I now see that I would have had a much larger window). Thank you for any suggestions.
@crazyglasslady Жыл бұрын
Yes it likes to move all over the place. It would be better not to make it so tall with glass and leave the cookie cutter on there longer. And still you may have to push the llama or what ever you are making back into place. I think I was using a Popsicle stick or plastic spoon. I hope that helps. It's not always as easy as it looks in the videos. LOL

This is my new favorite craft! I made a snowman like yours on canvas and it turned out great. I do have a question. I have a board measuring 41 x 29”. I painted it and glued glass down and now I’m going to pour mod podge over it. Do you have any idea how much I should mix? It’s 1:1 mod podge: water, right? Thanks!!!!
@crazyglasslady2 жыл бұрын
Well if the glass is already glued down you shouldnt need as much. crushed glass needs more because it needs to soak into it all. i would start with 1/2 cup so 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup gloss mod podge it is so easy to mix then if u need more u can just mix it up quick. I am so happy that you are making something i would love to see it when its done. Lberman6079@gmail.com

Hi Linda, is it possible for me to do these flowers on glass and resin instead of the canvas and mod podge?
@crazyglasslady7 ай бұрын
Yes, of course you actually might want to use a rhinestone chain or something to outline them. It would hold the glass in place better.
@eileendigregorio99753 жыл бұрын
Beautiful! Why mod podge and not resin?
@crazyglasslady3 жыл бұрын
Thank you . Well you could certainly use resin. I just try to show everyone that there are alternatives with some glass because I know some people don't like to work with resin.
@KMF33 жыл бұрын
Cheaper too. I like having options. But ultimately prefer the look of the resin.
@Marie11192 жыл бұрын
Also, for a really big pour, I plan to set my piece on cups over a large piece of plastic, but I want to make sure that the mod podge doesn’t over the edges of the plastic. What do you suggest putting down as a dam? Wadded up/taped down Paper towels?? Do you have to keep tipping The board so that all of the mod podge runs off, or does it matter? Thank you. This is a really big project and I’m at the crucial part now and I don’t wanna mess it up!
@crazyglasslady2 жыл бұрын
Yes just put some paper towel around the edges. I would love to see it!
@Marie11192 жыл бұрын
@@crazyglasslady Linda thank you so much! So with tipping the board do you have to do it until every bit of mod podge runs off or don’t worry about it?
@crazyglasslady2 жыл бұрын
@@Marie1119 well you will use a brush to even it out after the majority is off so it will be like a coat of paint and it will dry to a gloss no pooling or puddling just a thin coat at the end
@crazyglasslady2 жыл бұрын
@@Marie1119 no just so its not pooling in any area then smooth it out with a brush like you would paint
