It's so much fun to get out by yourself sometimes. I have what I call my 'nine dollar days'. I don't know why I call them that. I sometimes go to Wendy's and get a small chocolate frosty and some piping hot fries. I park in a spot in the shade where no one will see me dipping the fries into the frosty like a four year old. Its SO good! Please keep the outings coming. You look so well-rested now. You deserve every minute of your 'ME' time.

Oh Nanny, it was so fun spending the day with you ! I loved going to Target and I must go tomorrow to see if they had one of the shoes you saw. When you went to Carl's Jr to get your "snack" , it was so sweet to see you sharing it with your mom. I don't remember what my mom loved, she died when I was 11. Fun video! There's nothing like a little shopping therapy for a girl! Love your dinner and would suggest that maybe next time you roast the asparagus. All you need is a little olive oil and some herbs and it's really delicious and one less pan! You and Moose are so lucky that you have both aged so well. I also remember the cheap hamburgs when hanging out with my friends when I was a teenager, such fun! A little bit of “food mischief” can be good for the soul, the onion rings and poppers looked delicious. We are having salmon and asparagus with rice for dinner tonight. Let me share how I like to cook it on a sheet pan. Put a little oil or veg spray under where you place the salmon. Spread a very thin layer of Dijon mustard on the salmon, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning (to taste). Prep asparagus and lay out beside salmon, then sprinkle with olive oil and salt and pepper. Toss it to coat the asparagus and lay it flat on sheet pan. Bake in a pr-heated 425 F oven for 12 minutes. Serve with lemon and or lime wedges. So easy and delicious too! Great vlog, thanks Nanny🙏🏼❤️

OMG, 7….Rutt’s Hut was a regular in Moose’s life ALWAYS! he grew up in Rutherford….and everytime we went back East..we had to go to Rutt’s. ! my favorite memory was introducing all our 6 kids to that place when we all went back for a big family visit! I can still remember them all standing around eating at the counter and laughing at Moose who would get so excited with the visit….we even would have to make the stop half an hour after we got off the plane sometimes…thanks for the memory, 7….❤️

Nanny!!! I used to get those salmon asparagus to go meals ALL the time at Farm Fresh and they closed our local Farm Fresh stores and I can't find them anymore!!! I was shocked at how good they were when I first bought them but I literally cooked the whole thing in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes and they were fabulous!! You can do that if you don't open or puncture the bag the meal comes in...Where did you get them again? Your attire for the evening added quite the flair and looks smashing!!! Oh you had me with the Salmon and asparagus and then you mentioned salmon cakes!!! YumYum 😋 love those too!! Hope you're having a great time at the party!! Joy to all ❤

Danny I eat salmon all the time it is so healthy for you and yes we even though we are in the midwest I am able to get it seemingly freshen unfrozen certain stores have it like that but I find the less I cook at the better it is I don't like salmon cooked a lot

I love onion rings and jalapeño poppers BUT they don’t love me😅 I have your father’s gut😭 The dinner looks really good! I made tuna cakes recently and I was shocked at how good they were. I would have never imagined! I actually liked them better than salmon. Crab cakes are my fav but with food prices these days sheesh. Pre covid we lived and worked in Charleston, SC and crab was on the menu every week. We just didn’t know how good we had it! I can pretend my tuna cakes are crab😂 Do you guys eat shrimp and grits? Oh Nanny I still indulge in White Castle cheeseburgers but they are frozen so I have to microwave them. White Castle franchise is not in the DC Metro area. My parents used to take us on a Saturday afternoon for “car food” and it was so much fun. I used to eat 3-4 little cheeseburgers! I loved them as a little girl and still love them. My dad told me he never liked McDonalds despite the fact we were treated to them! I love those meals that are prepackaged. So yummy! I love those jalapeño and cheese treats and onion rings are the best! Your dinner looked divine and I hope you and Moosie have a great time at your family gathering. I think the onion rings there are the best!!! That’s all I get there and I crave them all the time!!! I’ve never met anyone who loved them as much as me! Ha! I also only eat at Del taco. I do not like Taco Bell. So funny how you can have so much in common with someone you have never met! I as I mentioned am also from ca. born as nd raised in Anaheim and then I grew up in Burbank and Sun valley . My grandma lived in Palm Springs next to Clark gables Old house . I spent a lot of time there. She actually worked for Sony Bono for years and I Sang for him and his wife in a Christmas show at one point . My gram was also manager Art Kiss Fm radio for a long time.
