I’m right behind you at 79 and I just LOVE playing with makeup! Recently I started wearing Australian Gold tinted sunscreen 50! This does not come off until I take it off at night! I mix fair with a little medium and on it goes! Wonderful to have a high spf face coverage of 50! And I'm so proud of you - no boo boos or blotches this time 😊 Every time I watch you it makes me want to look my best and take better care of my face & skin. I had tried foundation off & on for years but didn't realize the skin on my face needed moisturizer too. The make up goes on & blends so much more smoothly with my nivea first. I bet you were an awesome school teacher - you explain & show us so much! One tip I might add about getting rid of dead skin (because mine gets ashy & scaly too) is use a scrub in the shower. I love painting my fingernails, I don’t have them done professionally, but it’s fun to also put pretty decals for nails on them. Since 2020 I’ve been making memory wire bracelets and stretch bracelets and learn a lot from tutorials. Im studying to make necklaces with clasps.It’s a lot of fun. You seem like a very kind person and down to earth. Not spending a fortune on cosmetic’s, I don’t either. Nanny thank you for your prayers my mom is finally home in stable condition, but needs physical therapy and occupational therapy and they are coming out to the house to do it along with an RN three times a week. When we when I found her, she was moments from dying luckily the EmT’s got there within less than five minutes, just hard to believe, physically exhausted and sick from being at the hospital for 14 to 16 hours a day but your prayers certainly helped greatly and I want to thank you from the heart and I’m glad moose is doing well and like moose my mom is so looking forward to watching the Phillies today her favorite thing is to watch baseball. She loves a Philadelphia Phillies and I know Moose is getting prepared for watching the baseball team out in California, but I can’t think of the team name. Love to all and thank you!! Another great video.....Self care and looking ones best is an elixer (sp) to the spirit. It is not narcissistic but essential to be the best we can be on any given day. Somehow walking around in baggy or wrinkled clothes and an unkempt look just brings down a feeling of self esteem. As you so adeptly show it doesn't have to cost a fortune.....after all everywhere we go....there we are...and why not meet our best selves on this journey. Your makeup looks wonderful and natural. Revlon lipstick is my favorite one from the drugstore. I own no telling how many Revlon lipsticks. I try to match up Revlon dupes for my high end lipsticks to keep in my purse. I don’t like to keep high end lipsticks in my purse because they are so pricey, so when I am going out, I pick a high end lipstick that has a matching dupe in my purse. I absolutely prefer high end makeup so I will readily admit that I am a makeup snob. I do own a good many drugstore makeup products-mostly Revlon lipsticks and almost everything from the Milani line-Milani is really good quality and I like to travel with Milani makeup because it is very reasonably priced just in case it gets lost or damaged. Milani lipsticks and lip glosses are really good, too. I also have very dry skin and a cabinet full to the brim of almost everything available to combat dry skin. I really don’t have any particular product preference-I just use something all the time. I have been letting my foot care go way too long. Prior to the pandemic, I always got routine pedicures. I can really do it better myself but I am a terrible procrastinator when it comes to my feet!!! Getting a professional manicure and pedicure used to be my guilty pleasure but no more. Hope you found Moosie well and I hope he gets lots of visitors to keep his spirits high!!! Take care of yourself-prayers will definitely continue for my very special friends!!!!! 💝🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💝

Beautiful robe. Excellent makeup! Amazing how it helps improve our appearance. I can't always use some of the moisturizing products out there, but I have actually used organic coconut oil on my face and body if my skin is feeling extra dry, especially in the winter months. Works pretty well. Have you ever tried those stencil type of eyebrows? You stencil paint them on. I have not tried, but look interesting to see how they would work. I think I will try the Elf Soft Glam. They sell Elf at my grocery store. Convenient. You look beautiful and ready for your afternoon visit with Moose. Thank you for the video. I totally agree with you about Vaseline Nanny... I've used it for years... on my face , on my body.. bottoms of my feet.. head to toe.. Ii love the way it can be greasy at first but sinks in and by morning its all good.. I don't think i have as dry of skin as you do but still it helps.. especially really good after a shower when your skin is moist.. it helps lock the moisture in... Ofcourse i come from a long line of Vaseline users... not my Mom .. she was a huge fan of Oil of Olay... But my GrandFather used to EAT Vaseline... now i do not do that nor recommend to do that... but he believed in it to keep him regular...um... yeah... Just a fingerful... but as a kid i was like blech!!! ewww.... no way... lol Hugs! deb

I've been floundering because makeup at mid 70's is very different from when I was younger 😆 I got a couple of the ELF soft glams after viewing some of your vids and started using them and love them. Like you not into heavy makeup but enough to look natural and not a total frumpette 😹 Never thought of the idea to thoroughly soften up my skin before applying top coat.
