Nanny, I'm a few decades younger than you yet I also like to have my hands-free when I shop. I keep a small crossbody bag in my larger bag that holds my wallet, my cell phone, and a tissue. And when I'm going to run inside of a store I just grab the crossbody bag for that purpose. Maybe that will be helpful to you!

Good morning Nanny. Thank you for another enjoyable video. Like you Nanny I was and still am a hand bag lover. I have collected some of the most beautiful and comfortable ones, large ones for work, others for formal wear or for going out, all made of leather. They are all kept in small soft fabric bags and all cleaned and shiny with what Nanny? Nivea in a blue box, the same I use in my face. After rubbing them all with Nivea, I live them for an hour or so and then I polish them with a soft cloth , and that way the leather of the bags never gets damage. Love you Nanny. 😊What a treat tonight! I had doctor visit this morning. Funny, but so many doctors are retiring this year. Everything is going pretty smoothly, but there have to be silly obstacles! Our neighbor is altering his house by turning his little sunroom into an extra room for his daughter who just moved here for a new job. Well, the construction crew has backed into and knocked our mailbox twice this week. This makes 3 times as his dad knocked it down the weekend that they moved into their new house. Now, we have been here in this house in 1976. What a hoot!!!😂

I think it is absolutely wonderful that you are still very much into fashion. Today, in preparation for the changing of the seasons from summer to fall/winter, I thought of you as I sorted through my clothes. We have had a very sudden change in our weather and suddenly I need some warmer clothes for the chilly mornings and late afternoons. We went out to dinner tonite and I had to have a light jacket and closed shoes-I definitely think sandal weather is gone for this year!!! Our low for tomorrow morning is forecast to be in the upper 40’s from what has previously been the mid to high 60’s and low 70’s. I do think that last hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico has definitely ushered in fall for us here in the southeast!!! Our leaves are really going to start turning the beautiful colors of autumn now!!! Since it has been so dry here most of this summer, many of the leaves have already fallen from our trees. I still haven’t done any fall decorating-I just cannot get motivated to drag out the storage boxes for my fall decorations-these last two storms have definitely caused my thoughts and efforts to go to other places. I am also an avid handbag collector. I have also given away quite a number of bags, but I have always hung on to my favorite ones. I also enjoy the large roomy bags for all the reasons you described in this video!!! I also have a nice collection of evening bags and small casual clutch purses. I have a definite weakness for handbags!!! Imagine that with all of my other collections. I just love so many beautiful things-especially if it’s boho in design!!! I am definitely just an old hippie!!! I pray for safe travels for you as you hit the road to visit your family-I hope you have a wonderful time!! Back in the 90's I had a pair of olive green suede boots made in Spain with the Spanish heel. They were the most gorgeous boots and I wore them to death. I wish I had them now! I'm dying to see your purses! I've always loved Coach and I have a lot of them, but they feel heavy to me now. I find that The Sak hobo bags are lightweight, comfortable, hold a lot and come in beautiful patterns and colors.

Dearest Nanny….what a fun video! I love your new green jacket…I like you have a very kick back lifestyle….practical, comfortable, clothes and SHOES! Just got my cast off but the feet are still hurting….oh well! We were just invited to a surprise 50th party of our sons best friend since they were little kids. It is in a beautiful catering hall and the invite says dress to impress. I have a gorgeous dress but what will I wear on my feet? I’m going to look for a low wedge sling back shoe….I have so many nice bags from way back I saved that are big! I put them way up in a bin in my closet but my hubby took them down and I was so happy to revisit them! The crossbody bags are great for a quick run to the store but ultimately the big bags are back and I’m going to use them again too. Getting into the 50’s at night here in Branchburg NJ….i love the cooler weather and changing up my clothes to the cozy warm ones….loved seeing your beautiful face again today…hugs to you and Moosie❤❤

You're so wise, Nanny. This is what I do. I have two closets. I put the clothes I love in the closet of clothes I wear. The clothes I don't wear, or ones I like but wonder about, I keep at least for awhile, in my second closet. I decide later whether or not to keep certain items. Quite often, with the change of season, I'll visit the second closet and find clothes that I put back in the first closet because they're trending -- again. I love when that happens because I save money that way!😊💖 Come to think of it, I could add some bags/purses to that second closet, too!😊💖💖

I must have missed the loud music video. My internet is out of commission this week so I will need to catch up on Nanny and Moose world. Colleen looks stunning in her electric blu jumpsuit! Perfect for Vegas. Hope she has a wonderful time with her friend. Lovely Ralph Lauren fashion show. I have seen some of the current RL styles and are quite beautiful, but like everything else lately, a little too high end, price wise for me at least. Thank God for vintage clothing. I had to wear my vintage black dress to my grand nieces wedding yesterday. I through on a nice silk scarf and black strappy sandals, some pearls and a pewter bracelet from Switzerland to class it up a little. Did my own nails. Everyone was wearing colorful designer gowns, nails done professionally, hairdos , etc. I kept my head high.😅 Anyway, it's amazing how you can pull something together if you have to.
