Hey, i installed an ac system in my e11 corolla but idk if the ac compressor came factory pre oiled. I got an entire ac retrofit kit that was stored in some warehouse for 30 years. I did call Toyota, went to dealerships, asked mechanics but no one knew. It should be the same compressor as in starlets. Thank you in advance, ur videos saved me many times, especially the one where u show how to change the 4efe waterpump. Thank you

Same day head and block skimming? I am moving to Darwin.
@snapped443314 күн бұрын
Skimming dosent take verry long. It also depends on how busy the shop is. I've had a head vac tested, hardness, health check and skimmed within 2 hours once cause there was nothing to do then he picked it up an hour later
@Levent_Ergun14 күн бұрын
@ yeah I know, machine shops are far in between nowadays. All of them that are within 4 hours of drive give me 10 days of wait times before they can start.

Word of advice when doing launch control is not too just immediately dump the clutch but too slip it out instead and also maybe loose the awd until you figure things out and find the sweet spot.
@turkeyboyjh113 күн бұрын
Or more rpm and boost, is dirt, as soon as the tire break loose it’s on limiter so it just needs more gusto or less weight and it’d be a ripper doing cyclones, gut the doors, ditch the glass, speakers and sound insulation that thing would get it
@StraightOutThaGudda4U15 күн бұрын
Built for a good time not a long time😂 should of really slapped in those head studs😅 but change the gasket, throw some head studs in , gut it and hit the track, lets see what it can do 😎

Should have given it a cam and valve spring upgrade for higher rpm, plus add in a water intake injection to cool the combustion chamber allowing advanced ignition timing for more horsepower max boost and better fuel economy without any engine knocking.

Did you dry the bolt and the threads with brake clean, Any oil contaminants in the mating surface between the bolts and the head or in the threads can increase the clamping force changing torque figures

I thought cracking bolts was a 1/4 or less of a turn, then crack the next, and so on. Not undo one bolt all the way and then the next. My guess is, you put all the clamping load on the last few bolts, that's why they locked up and the heads tore off.

I wonder why it blew a head gasket again. Could it be the reused headbolts? Nah that couldn't cause an issue. Joking aside, I don't know how it is down under, but can't you find 12,9 grade bolts or studs and use those? They don't need to be specific automotive ones.
@elcascoviejo534715 күн бұрын
it really needs atleast new oem bolts for more time XD
