I'd love to do this to my POS daily fiat 500 with the poopy 1.4L (not the abarth) perhaps once I replace it with the next work vehicle I'll tinker around with it. Protip; do away with the wastegates altogether and control the boost via the cold side.

40mm gate would of been perfect from pre first turbo to between turbos. 60mm would of been ideal to bleed boost from intermediate pipe to atmosphere. Some extremely basic research into a compound turbo setup would make this thing work so well. Such a wild little thing 😂
