Putin Ally Says Russia Should "Erase" Ukraine | US-Led NATO "Unprepared" To Defend Europe

In another serious threat to the West, Putin ally Dmitry Medvedev urged Russia to work towards the "disappearance" of both Ukraine and NATO. Medvedev said Russia "must do everything so that Ukraine's 'irreversible path' to NATO ends with either the disappearance of Ukraine or the disappearance of NATO." Meanwhile, Poland is considering a proposal from Kyiv to shoot down Russian missiles heading towards Polish territory while they are still in Ukrainian airspace. A top former US official claimed NATO is unprepared to defend European countries because most of its defensive capabilities have been destroyed in Ukraine.

It’s very easy to SAY “work towards the disappearance of Ukraine and NATO”. It’s much harder to actually make it happen. Putin’s “Special Military Operation” has actually made the Ukrainian people much more anti-Russian than they were before, and has actually resulted in NATO enlarging even further (with Finland and Sweden joining the alliance). The longer the SMO goes on, the weaker the Russian army becomes (it is burning through all its Soviet era weapon stockpiles), and the stronger the NATO armies become. Ukraine is buying time for NATO to rearm.
