Decades long recumbent rider here. Can only ride my Hase trikes now., but this is my now favorite model from Cruzbike! That lowest height bottom bracket is a VERY, VERY practical feature! That would make a great long mileage tourer! "Jason Stillwater"

Note that the bottom bracket height will vary based on your leg length, but I agree that this is this the favorite Cruzbike.

Pedals lower like S40 should be optimal recumbent body position - both in terms of legs-arms combined power transmission as well as anatomically healthiest, but head rest is obligatory in that angle.

I'd love to try one. But the US are far off. Is there a possibility to do so in Europe? Is Cruz Bike planning on coming to the Spezi? Are there other options? And most importantly: My girlfriend and i were wondering if Cruz bike was planning on proposing a Tandem option. With the front wheel drive and this relaxed and safe position this would fit all the criteria we'd have hoped for: Independent Cadence, safe but reclined seating, climbing ability and of course: the looks! We'd be so curious to try them out.

Same problem in the UK. There’s a dealer in the Netherlands though; when I’m next there I’m going to try and test one out.

@@andrewallen9918 Yes, I guess with low production numbers you always encounter the difficulty of not having access that'd allow you to test the bike beforehand ... The Netherlands are quite a way from my place so I guess I'll have to wait or find another way. But I would be interested if you would be willing to share your experiences here, once you've gotten the opportunity that is :).

@@jonabub I might end up at Spezi before then, we’ll see; I don’t remember any Cruzbikes present there back in 2019.

@@andrewallen9918 Me neither, I was looking forward to that at the time but they didn't come ... Missed opportunity but there is always more than enough to see at the Spezi anyway so we just tried other bikes. But there is not too much in the recumbent tandem world sadly. So we're still looking for the right fit :).

I'd have to factor in conversion to Shimano shifters for personal preferance and hydraulic brakes to eliminate the sponginess.
