CRV Mod Garage: Turning the Clock Green!

For today’s video I’m going to show you how to turn the digital clock in 97-01 Honda CRVs from amber to green. You should have replaced it with clear film so dust does not go into the housing

Nice! Free mod to boot! I have to admit it never in a million years would've occurred to me to change the color of my clock, but now that you mention it...all my center console lights, on the radio, climate control, gear shift, etc., are all red, but my clock right above them is this same blueish-green that you just converted to. Now I suddenly want to make my clock red. :-) Nice work...clear, easy to understand & well-demonstrated video!

softroadingthewest Thanks dude! I think I might try and put a blue piece of plastic or film in there and see if I can get the hue a little closer to the blue on my radio. Little projects like these are pretty simple, but always seem to feel pretty rewarding in the end.

Julien Gauthier they are fixable if you solder the connections on the circuit board. There are a few videos on here showing how.

Alvaro Revilla Most likely they solder connections. There are some good youtube fix videos for it. It’s very common for these to not work.
