This is probably my close second favorite (first being good ending) because I thought it would make sense for Simon to hold a grudge against a doctor that he’s known for a few months (or years I can’t remember). I feel like Simon accomplished a lot more by forgiving Sophie, his childhood friend who abandoned him years ago. Even after such a heartless goodbye, Simon still caring about her after all this time just warms me...even while he isn’t alive to her that😢.

To get this ending you have to kill the boss monster that kills Sophie and when you find the gun that you get in the bowling alley do not give it to the doctor when he asks you to give it to him :)

I know, you might think I'm not... or wasn't normal, I was crippled, stuck in a wheelchair, and that's why I had to die. I was broken, defect, full of emotional problems. This to me is the best bad ending. Even though Simon absolutely hated what Doctor Purnell did, he at least had the sense not to hurt Sophie, as she had little to do with his problems and pretty much the worst thing she did was breaking up with him (and let's be honest, breakups happen a LOT).

Because Simon didn't kill Sophie. In this ending, and the good ending, Sophie did not die, because Carcass was killed. So her blood did not appear in the bathtub. If you run away from carcass, you get the worst ending or the bad ending, where Simon does indeed kill Sophie and put her body in his bathtub. Same for the doctor, if you trusted him, the newspaper at the beginning does not appear. If you didn't, that newspaper does appear.
