Pretty sure it's just an aviation-ism. ATCs often say "recycle your transponder," too. Maybe it just flows better or is easier to distinguish, something like that.

Is it normal for the altimeter to read -60ft on the ground at LGKR? Airfield elevation is 6ft so that would mean baro is 2hPa incorrect. Wonder if it's a bad ATIS/ground weather station or faulty altimeter.

In the states it can be + or -75 get feet off. Plus, maybe the altimeter changed in the last hour.

Yea they've built the airport into a lake between two hills. Very fun approach as there are only NPAs. Requires to do a slightly longer briefing but its worth it haha. I hate the Double Brief

Is it common? Don't get me wrong, I don't have problem with children, but flying safety POV it could be a dangerous distraction if the pilots are in a more overloaded situation, because its deeply in our mankind psychology, especially if the pilot is a woman.
