Honestly, "You Need You" is our favorite track we ever worked on and the track that helped me overcome personal matters in my life. It's a reminder for me that if I don't love myself, then nobody can love me. Yeah, I needed myself the most and this song that I proudly can call mine, saved my life and made it better. From the first moment we got the vocals we knew that the lyrics is a call for help. ok, so here's this. i am often called an arrogant person by elders around me, and i cry really easily. i have fights with my teachers, my mom, and my dad. I was bullied all my school life up to now. i am very good at studies, i love music, and writing. recently, i had lost faith in myself and the fact that anybody needs me. everything would have been so better off without me, an asshole whose mother herself says "no one will ever be able to handle someone like you" i had stopped studying for five months and i have not touched a book. it gave me trauma. i felt unconsciously that even though i could not openly do it, i had started to destroy myself slowly with hours at my laptop, watching what not, and not sleeping or bathing and not doing what i love. i wanted to fade away. this song made me feel a new emotion for myself: love. i had never loved myself before. it feels awesome guys :) i was back to studying and singing, and now i DO practice self care. I don't thank people much, but here's a BIG thanks to you Rosendale. If some singer deserves success, you do. P.S considering how less people read this, because Rose IS CRIMINALLY underrated.

Got to know about this via a Gaming Songs Playlist...the non-accoustic Version. You've got an amazing voice...I got stuck with this song and while I no longer suffer from depression that deep I'm still lost when it comes to selfcare and loving myself so I can somewhat relate to this. I usually care more for the ones I love or get too deep into things that ain't good for me...and I know i should change that but it's no easy road I need to walk...but giving up is no option either. Some people just don't know the struggle you face daily when you are mentally ill. They look at you and see you can still walk on your own, have all your limbs and no other visible disabilities and then they expect you to function the way they want. And you easily feel left alone if you realize for yourself you just can't live up to these expectations and it's even harder to realize, that you do NOT have to! And then it's a different story to change yourself living this new way of life...
