9:44 - So for context, this was a commercial break on JP TV. 12:33 - Funnily enough, Luna and Ruffian (the guy with the mohawk) were glorified extras at the time (only Luna was added to the much later LNs.) 16:26 - It’s the beginner class, basically all specialist class stems from it and has average stats/no specialty (Mage, Priest, and etc have a specialty.) but it can learn any skill. Fire Emblem has this class and it’s usually referred to as Trainee, since you’re training to be a proper class.

16:17 without spoilers, it's just a skill issue if you can't make it as an adventurer with kazuma's level of luck. also, to sum up her appraisal of aqua's stats, she's op af and all her stats have been maxed from the get go, but she's also unlucky and dumb af...to say she's got zero intelligence would be a compliment, as you'll see later on...

Something about this show, it's like a parody of the typical isekai and that's what makes it great and hilarious. While it may take the routes you may expect from time to time, there are also many times where it just takes the tropes in isekai, and absolutely sh*t on it. Also, the anime makes some scenes more hilarious in the anime than in the source material. Like one infamous scene in episode 5 and the thing that happened just before that. The latter was the same, just more polished to be funny, but the scene after that thing was made more hilarious specifically because it's in anime. overall, I hope you enjoy this show. It's one of the few modern isekais that have something to show other than being an isekai, in konosuba's case, the comedy. Other examples would be re:zero where it's a deconstruction of the stereotypical isekai, overlord where it's from the villain's pov, and shield hero, at least season 1, where they took it to the next level by making the characters and the world sh*t on the mc on top of being supposedly "useless"...

@@kingidkwhy6958It cuts jokes, memes, and ad-libs, because they also do their own ad-libs. It’s a good dub, but shouldn’t be watched as an alternative/first watch.
