The Tranquility Girl scene is/was my favorite scene out of the LN, and I was SO PISSED it got cut from the movie! I'm so freaking happy they put it in the show!

@@boringboneThough, part of her joke is kinda ruined by the fact that in Light Novel, Kazuma and the Party encountered her on their way to the Crimson Demon Village, and Yunyun was lagging behind them taking the exact same route. Meaning that, because the party (namely Kazuma) confronted the Tranquility Girl first, Yunyun’s life was inadvertently spare. Because let’s be honest, given her naive, trusting, empathetic, and overly generous nature, (as well as her desperation for friends) Yunyun would have definitely ended up becoming fertilizer for her.

Supplementary info/LN changes (possibly a longer comment this episode, because of the content in it.) 1:33 - It’s funny that everyone remembers him, considering he’s anime original and doesn’t exist in the LNs. Fun fact: most of this episode is anime original and rearranged cut content from LN 5/the movie (Sylvia and related PTSD, Kazuma wanting to be a monk, Chris appearing, and the mallet are all anime original.) 2:32 - Same staff since S1 (same situation as the movie.) 8:57 - When Megumin held his hand, he reminisced his past (it’s implied that she’s like his childhood friend) of his childhood friend wanting to marry him, only for him to get traumatized from seeing her riding a senpai’s bike and never went back to school/became a HikiNEET and became well known in online games. This is basically why he is the way that he is/‘gender equality’ and that he has PTSD. 11:58 - Basically a trick for voice acting (also, she apparently has the same VA as Holo from Spice and Wolf and other notable characters.) 13:04 - Kazuma is rich, especially with Vanir’s 300 million Eris lump sum. Extra info about Tranquility Girl: the stump is part of the body, it gives a lot of EXP (like the Farfetch’d monster from KonoBakuen), and old people seek one out to die in tranquility (hence the name) by eating a placebo fruit that doesn’t feed them and they pass away in peace and painlessly. 14:19 - Already was the plot in S2/LN 3. It’s similar to the movie, where Ep. 1 contains the cliffhanger ending from the previous book (the letter from Iris is how the movie should’ve ended and Ep. 2 will be the start of LN 6.)
