Yeah solana is on track to continue its surge. so while you most definitely could have held on to make way more profit, transitioning to btc is still a great/safe play. Don’t beat yourself up over it, you’re still winning.

Great episode! Man I feel so much better hearing you say no more than 40-50 coins. That’s about where I’m at and I hear so many content creators recommend no more than 5-10 which just isn’t enough exposure to the narratives I’m investing in. Also love the advice on sticking to three narratives. It’s gaming, AI and defi/airdrops for me in this bull run

Thanks Hashoshi.... Boy did I ever need to escape the 24/7 twitter and KZbin hype channels and yours popped up which I hadn't seen in a wile... this one was literally the most important to rein me back and zoom out and get back to the fundamentals, a smart strategy to hold yourself too, educating yourself on your projects in your portfolio... and basically having a roadmap with good rules (standards) to keep oneself driving responsibly metaphorically when in these hectic distracting market conditions.... I made 10 pages of notes watching this segment... stuff most of us know, but usually we toss our strategy or rules out after a few pumps and corrections mid cycle. Just wanted to thank you for this excellent framework you reviewed here that works for you and I'm going to be evaluating all my positions again and implement an entry, thesis, notable events, etc etc... the 3 benchmarks, everything you covered was spot on and quality... You are a wealth of knowledge and I am glad I found your channel again just now... Subscribed last cycle and am just glad I came across this gem of a segment... Thnx brother.... respect

This isn't financial advice, it's... This is the most comprehensive financial advice I've had in the crypto space in a long time. A strategy is indeed very personal, but it always has to be anchored somewhere. I'd also say that in the case of a supernatural bull market, we should also expect a major fall in the general economy as a whole. This brings us to the question of preparation. The main question on the notepad should always be: what's my exit plan? No banks, no crypto. And you certainly can't barter with an electronic ETF or numbers on your Trezor. Just a thought. Would you recommend holding until the end of the year and take some profits of the table. Then more profits in 12-18 months. Other than price targets do you think time targets are a reasonable idea? One thing that saved me was paying quarterly taxes, send the money off to the IRS where it is gone, that way you won't be tempted to reinvest into another coin. This might have saved my marriage last cycle because even after sending in 15k in taxes I still had to pay 2k more, which is easier for my wife to accept. If I told her we owed 17k I would be single.

I don’t watch much crypto stuff in the bear, I tend to think that’s when to hibernate and let things sit there lol. I wake up in the bull and start watching reliable sources from when the last bull went crazy. Hashoshi has undoubtedly blown crypto media mainstreamers out of the water, bar none he’s top two for me. He keeps it real. No risk no reward but at least learn this, there’s a time and place/a window of opportunity, where high risk has higher probability. And it’s gonna take you at least 1.5 cycles to get it. Gotta live from the top to the bottom first😂.

But the established coins are way more expensive than the smaller ones. You can lose far more than with the 'smaller' coins. When you have money, you can 'gamble' a little bit. But if you have no money you have to play it save by buying 'smaller' coins.
