I was here in '21 got in midway, made some good moves, made about 10K, then I got FOMOing into sheetcoins and ended up losing about 10K, yep, .... So this time I 'm more in attention, more in turn and I'm NOT FOMOing into every sheetcoin pumped. So far, I'm doing safe and profitable and I am NOT ALL IN. SO I think this run is almost identical to last run with the exception of the ETRF/Wallstreet angle. But I want on record, things never repeat exactly so I don't BET my entire wad saying anything is guaranteed. I will be taking profit on the way up , not on the HOPE Wagon to Hell.

I think in order for the cycles to keep playing out the same way, there has to be all these really convincing and seemingly even larger, and more accurate narratives around why this time will be different. I think that is the biggest trap for this cycle. When it’s all said and done, much like ‘21 when ppl said lengthening cycles, and it would be a triple top at 100k blah blah , we’ll look back and see it more or less ended up playing out similarly to previous cycles based on bitcoins mathematics, and it really was that simple. Simplicity is extremely difficult to master, we always over complicate things when we speculate. Humans are INCREDIBLY cyclical and predictable, this isn’t unique to Bitcoin either. I believe Satoshi understood this better than anyone and built a protocol around it. Just my opinion, I’m not gonna over think it or over trade this cycle.

Maybe. BUT this time is the FIRST TIME since before the financial crisis of 2008 and in the whole time of BTC being that we have high interest rates/financial contraction. This macro-environment along with more than ever geopolitical uncertainty is NEW. At best we had meme coin lottery and BTC-ETFs as for now. But US-presidential election as well as elections for the majority of the world's population are taking place this year. And the governments want to be reelected. Let's hope they give away enough money so people can invest in Crypto. (Also it's the Chinese year of the dragon ( -> prosperity 🐲 😉 .) Let's hope for the best!

@@Schubelgruber If it’s the first time “since” then it’s not really the first time, therefore there’s historical precedent which makes it much harder to say this time will be any different, ppl are cyclical like that, history doesn’t repeat but often rhymes. Again, the narratives are alwaysss very convincing, they have to make you feel like no no no THISS time reallyy could be different!! And then you realize you’ve felt that way several business cycles in a row that more or less end up playing out the same way. Context may change but human behavior stays the same lol it’s a mind game. Human psychology is the biggest player in these markets, all markets, not just crypto.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to take risks. Saving is great but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. There's a lot of 2nd & 3rd cyclers who got burned from the many shadows of crypto that absolutely know this cycle is different. Opinions from bias don't outweigh economics(inevitable supply squeeze, ETF inflows etc). I love a good contrarian view, yet this screams burned & traumatized from the hype you followed in the last cycles that left you hodling your bags. We're early, de-risking by taking profits has ALWAYS been the right move. Simply take profits now, and rotate in during the upcoming major corrections. Things like L1s, easy narratives like AI & Gaming and whatever protocols get the most funding will pump over time. As for memecoins(garbage), they're the easiest to understand for retail once they DO come back. They will come back in full force this time with infrastructure & onramps being better, and it will be a flood of exit liquidity for all of us here now, not just institutions. Watch the indicators, start laddering out over time.

It's because that money when Sold off goes into stocks. the ETF space is stock market people. They're not going to sell into Alts. Right now crypto in majority is just all the same from the last bull market. They no not to panic sell it's why alts pump at different times like money being moved around

Alts had a big run up between October and January. I think it was the seasoned retailers front running the ETF and setting their positions for the bull run. All the crypto lifers are now positioned and waiting for the next wave of investors to come in to pump up the market cap, whether it be institution or retail investors.

It's called liquidity man. Most of the liquidity is in Bitcoin right now. It will later flow into alts in the second half of the bullrun. Sure the alts will still move up along with BTC but they wont pump as fast as BTC.

The $61,250 of two years ago buys about 20% less today, so Bitcoin at $67,230 today is worth 80% of a bitcoin two years ago. It would have to get to $50,000 to be equivalent. Bitcoin may or may not be inflation immune, but the dollar that it gets quoted in is not immune to inflation. Still a bargain below $45k, Get it while it's hot. Also, consult a fiduciary with crypto expertise for informed buying and selling decisions since talks of a bitcoin ETF approval. Time in the market is more valuable than timing it. I recommend learning and studying daily on screen when and why the wave is going sideways, up or down. Training your eyes to see the chart patterns and divergences and with a combination of indicators that work for you. Makes life calmer, in my eyes no need to look too much into news or prognoses.

it's totally different this time. blockchain backer explains perfectly how the btc halving has no effect on btc price. etf approval, retail being scared, ath before halving event to name a few things. i got played last bull run so i intend to ladder out of everything as we go. and buy the 30% corrections. which is weird we haven't had any real pullbacks yet. exciting times

The Crypto market is pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine.
