Crypto bull run: Just beginning or already over?

We are not at the top. We are a pre-euphhoric bull market. Chop and sideways price action could be on the table from the low 60s to mids, the bottom is IN from the dump from ATH. We are in a bull market. Macro economics are wild but it does not make the previous cycles much different. Previous Data shows were in a healthy near matching retracement, re-accumilation phase which is identical to previous cycles. We will have another about another 7 months of upwards momentum. Bull market is on💪

2016 and 2020 had low youtube video influencers. There was a lot of retail to get in to the space. Nowadays everybody analyzed the market to the max. Everybody thinks to know what will happen and we are going to have a bullrun / alt season again. I don't know what will happen, but i know for sure that ain't gonna happen what people think will happen.

I think your thoughts make sense. I think we will range a bit, not go below the post halving cost of production (which of course varies with energy costs and difficulty adjustments and mining machine economics) for more than a wick or two as armed conflict waxes and wanes, and then see a ramp up rather like in fall 2020 when I had bought bitcoin sub $10K and was excited as it went though $20K and onwards till all the over leverage messed us up in 2021. I have been a retail buyer of the ETFs in my Fidelity IRA (I considered iTrust Capital but worried about Gensler and 3rd party risk) - this is after using GBTC and then Canadian spot ETFs.

Honestly we just saw the effect of the ETF run BTC up and alts followed a bit after. The war scared some of retail but the bullrun will be a bit bigger this time. Same gains as last time but that 10T+ MC will get there with institutions getting involved with the ETFs

💯this is a great take on where things are now. It was nice seeing the crypto market spring to life the last 6 months but it’s also time for a breather. As you noted, it is typical to see a lengthy consolidation period after the first run following the bear period. Another important note to mention is that ETH gas fees and Bitcoin network fees have been consistently low since January which is not characteristic of a full blown bull run. Still a minority participating right now. Be patient and consistent with your DCA strategy now.

What is interesting to me is how reliant BTC is on liquidity to keep the ponzi going. Without driving in retail FOMO, the price can't accelerate. And that is why these channels continue to hype it. I see BTC as a risk asset and will always sell off significantly during risk off economic conditions. So, folks better be careful. Watch out for the U.S. Gov't who will eventually try to control/take over the stable coin transactions.

It's going to be all about network effect, period. BTC is still seen as a risk on asset, but it is attracting new buyers with the ease of purchasing an ETF. The halvening was a snooze fest for YT influencers to peddle, but not much more. Alts will go nowhere at all unless rates drop & the printer starts to whir again. Meanwhile Gary and the SEC are working overtime to bring the party to an end, permanently.

AMSVRS is easier to manage by the US govt, so it will have the support of it 💯. From how Binance has been handled and currently managed, US govt will want to try to control the crypto space and make it an extension of the US dollar as a tool to control inflation and dollar economy. AMSVRS will get the backing eventually because ETH is heading in the opposite decentralised unregulated direction

Alt coins are at this time not an investment. It is just get in and dump before the other guy. O was one of those who thought bitcoin was a scam. I have bitcoin and hope it can be use to buy and pay for online activities. I think there is one company using bitcoin to pay on their website. Until bitcoin can be used as payment across all spectrum bitcoin will still be seen as speculation.

If we just saw the bull run, crypto is going backwards. How many alts set a new ATH like BTC did? Not very many. Especially the older, established alts. Ada hit what, $0.80? Maybe the BTC bull run splits off from the alts, and alts and BTC are now on different market cycles. Maybe now BTC follows the stock market more closely because of the ETFs? I feel like this is a great take and I wouldnt be surprised if you were right. But the market is funny. Lets say most of this dip was actually attributed to Israel/Iran. I'm not saying it was but lets pretend. If tensions werent high and they dont attack eachother and BTC stayed above 68k would we even be looking at this time in 2019 and say we are probably here? I'm not sure that we would. Every cycle is so different but there are general aspects that seem to stay the same. I'm guessing the peak will come in the next 12-18 months. So ill look for it around then unless we go parabolic before that.
