Most people have no idea what is being talked about inside the crypto bubble because crypto can't help the very poor. Most people around the world are very poor. In the end, crypto will only make the rich even richer and perhaps some in the middle class a little better financially. In all of these years of Bitcoin, nothing changed in the lives of the poor.

I agree with a lot of the ideas he expressed. I see this as a sort of moral rallying, and a declaration of war. I just wonder if anyone can reasonably contend with the deeply integrated, already instantiated financial systems we operate on. I would like to see crypto find a place in the current system. But some of the topics he addresses are less about crypto, and more about the corruption that plagues current day politics, and human behavior historically. I feel as though its important to stay focused and not conflate corruption with financial technology that has room for improvement.

some things cannot be coordination free. allocation of scarce resources necessitates permission. not having a control mechanism will lead to resource exhaustion. a control mechanism cannot be designed which everyone is happy with, only one which minimizes total sadness. laissez-faire economics has many known and well understood failure cases (labour exploitation, polluting shared resources). as a crypto holder myself for the better part of the last decade i'm shocked and appalled that this is holding base of crypto. i'd rather be poor than hang out with people who live in such a low trust context.
