i think the funniest thing in this whole situation is the fact how he's fallen for the most common paradoxes, the Streisand Effect. Dude's trying to save his channel from Atozy's "slander" by making a lawsuit, but this ends up calling a ton of unwanted attention on his channel, so much so that not so good stuff about him is dug up. It's funny, when the best move in this would've been to stay silent, his viewers would've probably continued watching and barely anyone outside the crypto bro sphere would've known of this dude's existence. I work retail and to me the real funny thing that this case and my work have in common is when someone does or is planning to do something shady they always get defensive about it which just draws more negative attention about them lol. I am not against youtubers defending themselves in a professional manner. I would encourage it like how Muta laid claims about Ethan ( H3H3) and Ethan promptly responded in a professional manner. He could have went straight for a defamation lawsuit, but he kept things civil. The lawsuit is being pulled back not because Bitboy had a change of heart, but because people donated thousands of dollars via crypto to Atozy, and Bitboy mentioned that he couldn't fight the suit because of things such as the *$100k donation that just 1 person (cobie) donated.* Sad that it had to end because of him realizing Atozy had a fighting chance now, but at least it ended. *UPDATE:* Bitboy's lawyers just filed a "return of service", which basically means Atozy still needs to give a response to the suit, and *it isn't dropped.* This may be due to slow court systems bringing up filings from just before Bitboy said he'd drop it, but *there's a high likelihood that this isn't over.* *UPDATE 2:* Bitboy just said it was a result of the court system, and he's still dropping the suit "early next week". We'll still need to see i this is a ploy for him to try to get Atozy to refund his legal defense before continuing regardless. *UPDATE 3:* Sorry, a bit late on this one, but Bitboy did drop the suit. Although I believe he dropped it in a way where he could still sue Atozy again in the future for the same thing, if he chose to.

I wonder to what degree these kinds of situations can be avoided if we start treating influencers and advisors in the same way as a matter of law. It would curb the risk of injury (used broadly in a legal context) for the followers immensely. Any kind of professional advice has regulatory precautions. But I don't think such a legal framework exists for influencers. I'm well aware of the fact that this could ruin a lot of careers, but I imagine it would also save a lot of people.

I think the question of "how could Bitboy possibly be *this* stupid?!" when filing the lawsuit and describing his "case" (in a way that makes it very clear that he doesn't have a case at all, and was not defamed, because truth is an absolute defense against defamation) is one that has a very immediately obvious answer, Mutahar: he's a *crypto* KZbinr. I'm very glad to see you put your two cents of logic in this! When I saw Atozys video earlier I immediately thought Mudahar has "big logic in his brain" and TADA you didn't disappoint! I was thinking the same as you ..... Atozy could have been just a tad less straightforward and we all would have gotten the jist but the other guy, man he came off as a straight up whiny manchild who was big butthurt. And lawyers will draw up ANYTHING if you throw some cash at them. They will. I've proven it. So I think this will deescalate and it's too bad Atozy got so stressed out. That's where I think the real harm was done, being stressed out to the point a grown man vomits is definitely just plain evil of the person that caused it. And the butthurt manchild should be ashamed of himself. I'm 99% positive that the "influencer" with all his crypto knowledge will get a reality check bc Atozy didn't maliciously lie, he just pointed out the facts, so crypto boy will eventually his reality check probably by his family and friends and hopefully he'll realize he needs to bring his ego down a couple of dozen notches. Bc legit his crypto skills, when you see all the posts, well they could be seen as a scam with little bits of legitimate information put out there. Sucks to be called out AND even more embarrassing to go all balls to the wall and immediately realize that you've made a huge mistake (in the sound of Gob from arrested development). 😂🤣 Thanks for the great video Mr. Ordinary Gamer!

That's like saying the people that get scammed by call centers deserve it for not knowing better, that's just a super shitty take and way to look at it. People will make bad decisions on their own regularly; and the people deceiving others for personal gains are just outright dogshit humans. It shouldn't be happening regardless without consequence.

@@devindameron There’s direct intent to deceive people in call center scams for the sole benefit of the scammers. People making an irresponsible investment are just not doing proper due diligence. If you’re talking about pump and dumps in tiny markets where the influencer has direct control over the market, then it has somethings in common with a call center scam. But even still, in call center scams there’s likely more trickery involved vs proactively putting your money into something you think will appreciate that turns out to be manipulated. What I’m talking about is in liquid markets there are always suckers who buy the top and sell the bottom, it’s part of markets.

@@martinlutherkingjr.5582 you're right there will always be bad traders, thats inevitable, but people will make their own bad decisions voluntarily without an " influencer" pushing shitty projects or whatever. I would assume a lot of the things are for personal gain from pumping on low liquidity and/or for exit liquidity. There's a reason it's happening much more often now and all im saying is these people should 100% be held accountable

That's the big problem with the legal system. If you can afford it, you can use the legal system as a weapon to drain your opponents into submission. If an influencer's influencing skills are so weak that a smaller channel can easily influence people away, then the smaller channel isn't the problem.

Atozy will get the support needed to cover his expenses, I know its stressful to get sued, but I kinda wanna see this go to trial so BitBoy loses and has to pay not only his legal fees, but Atozys, and any amount in countersuit they ask for.
