my dad and i are both artists. i'm vehemently anti-nft and crypto (see: environmental factors and instability) while he believes it'll make us rich. i have two cousins who have been heavily involved in the crypto space for nearly a decade now and they just convinced my dad to help them make nfts and frankly i'm just too tired of it all to be sad. its even more depressing when you factor in the fact that my dad is 60 and probably won't be able to retire for years to come, and he's really banking on this helping us.. this compared with the sunny la la land-esque ideals and imagery of Cryptoland is sickening, baffling, disgusting, saddening, vile, and borderline *comical.* That stupid fucking coin mascot *has* to be some sort of experimental art. It has to be. There's no way someone signed off on this entire trailer and didn't think "maybe this is cringe". Right? Right??

Don’t lump Bitcoin and nfts/shitcoins together. Bitcoin is real and it’s here to stay. Those who criticize it, most of the time, don’t know what what they’re talking about. I’ve been a Bitcoin investor for 5 years and have been through multiple crashes and bull markets. It’s part of the asset class, very volatile, but it’s fundamentals and mainstream adoption should make anyone very bullish long term.
