The difference between Pokemon cards and NFTs is that people actually want to own Pokemon cards vs just wanting to eventually sell them for more money. Although some do buy them to speculate. And they are real and you can play a game with them. Somehow monkeys that were created less than a year ago are more expensive than some of the most expensive Pokemon cards.
