Hahha, same with me when I bought new rig in 2015 :D Before that my rig was from 2008, the same year this came out,but even after upgrading my GPU in 2009 or 2010, it could still not run Crysis and especially Crysis Warhead smoothly on 1080p with full settings....the game was freaking diashow at somepoints when I tried to play it back then.

is there any way i can chek the heat.. because i play crysis on laptop and it heats up abit.. one thing i hate is my fan that releases inside heat is on the bottom of the laptop and if iplace it on a surface it refelct the heat back inside as you could imagine. can i buy another coolant or monitor the heat temperature so i know when to turn the laptop of. and i dont shut it down when im off it i just leave it on standby and i use it for mainly gaming

@RUNandGUN911 Yep.. I'm really excited for it, my buddy's going to get it on the 360, me on PC probably. On of the biggest reasons it's New York is probably the memory limitations on consoles (if that's why you ask), but I don't mind myself. Crysis and C:Warhead didn't really *force* people to play open-world style, it was just a cool extra feature. I could go anywhere the gravity etc. allowed, like on top of a huge mountain and snipe people, or go straight into a camp and be Rambo :)

@joeygoalyslayer is ur 512 mb graphics inbuilt with ur motherboard?? if yes then the game will not run on ur pc satisfactorily :( ur processor and physical ram is good enough but to play cyrsis warhead in medium settings the most basic card u need will be the Nvidia geforce 9500 gt and its ati equivalent card also it will depend on the resolution u run it in. higher resolution poorer performance :D nvidia geforce 9600 gt 1 gb will run in high setting at 1440 resolution very well

If I can run the Crysis Demo at 16-28FPS on Med-High graphical settings, would i be able to run Crysis Warhead at around the same FPS? Oh yeah, when Naomi died I just got really depressed, she was a really mysterious yet easy character, but I got really emotinaly attached with Snake, when I saw snake take the gun and put it in his mouth I just went like "noo nooo..." the he pulled the trigger, I thought he died, I just felt crushed and cryed, not just because I thought snake was dead but also because Meryl got married, and can now live a happy life, Raiden got back togethor with his family, It was a grat ending.

As far as I know: No. Sandbox 2 Editor comes with Crysis (you have to install it right from the disc. But if you have a good computer, Sandbox 2 is such an amazing tool if you know how to use it! You can - in real-time of course - build everything there - thanks to the solids (they handles just like in 3ds Max). BTW I built a whole gun safe for 40 SCARs (20 each on two tiers) lol

I got the game the day it came out...it was awesome!!! the only problem i had(witch isn't very big)was the weapon pick up. in the first crysis,you had to manually pick up weapons to stay in the game. In this one,you can simply walk over them,and you will pic up the weapon. I'm not complaining, but I it adds more realism to the game when: you have to pick things your self. But that's just me. I still loved the game. (I think I'm addicted lol.)

@masterpiraka I knew someone would say that x) There's only been three "real" games from Crytek that had a jungle, the original Farcry and Crysis (+ Warhead).. The rest were done by Ubisoft etc. I'm not opposed to the game being in New York, but it's pretty clear it isn't in a big fully detailed lush jungle because of memory issues.. I knew it wasn't going to the first time Cevat Yerli demoed the early CryEngine3 footage on PS3 a long time ago; they showed a dark, rainy alley in a city at night.

Depends what you want, they both have there strengths and weaknesses, personally I would go for crysis 1 because of it's much longer story and it is really where you want to start. Warhead is good but it's over too quickly and if you haven't played the first game you will be confused in the story.

5 hours for the singleplayer mode? It took me much more, probably because I like playing with the physics or viewing at the landscape. However, the game has excellent replay value. You can finish a level five times, but always take a different route (drive on the road? sneak through the bushes?) and always use different ways to kill your enemies (shoot em from the distance? dash around with a shotgun? just your bare hands? throw crates&barrels? spam grenades?). The graphics are just the icing.

@ObsceneOutcast funny thing is. ive actually done a benchmark with that gpu. umm it will play on low settings. i ran this with a stronger cpu the phenom ii x2 550 callisto which couldve given it a boost.but like the guy said. the game still looks great. play around with the settings. If you have the money go buy a 5770 or a gtx 460

@BrUSomania It wouldn't be impossible, but I think they would have to scale down the jungle (make it less huge) to be able to run on consoles.. The large environments are the biggest reason why Crysis & Warhead require so much horse power. Or RAM, which most computers have at least 2-4GB when on consoles it's 0,2GB.. They did the same with FarCry (previous Crytek-game) + many other PC-to-Console FPS and made the jungle/levels smaller without any noticeable difference in looks or gameplay.

Forgetting the 5850 =], It can actually run Warhead at enthusiast/ultra high, just make sure you don't run it at anything above 1680x1050

it's a system on your disc so you can install your game just 3 times or something like that, it sucks cuz i uninstall and reinstall a lot, and that will not be possible after X times, it's something with their rights they want to protect

I also felt happy, and sad when Big boss saved snake from killing himself, and gave snake a chance to live, I was happy about that, but Its sad when you think about it, this man lived for 40 years, but because of foxdie he was like a 80 year old, everyday to him was war, now and then people he was close to died, his whole life was war, its just really sad. I was just really happy when Otacon and Sunny came up with Foxalive, but its too late, he only has 1 year to live. 40 sad years just 1 happy.

@ilovemaryam08 it will do ok 30fps on high settings. high setting is not maximum btw. but it will do pretty good. dont know how Crysis 2 is gonna be with its higher detail awesomer detail graphics engine. I played on high with AA and AF with 30fps so yes. you can play on high
