Thank you Oxana for showing us the different ways to wrap a sphere. I have several beach tumbled marbles and I don’t want to wrap them all the same way. I love the difference!!.🙏🏼❤️

I did it! I watched your long tutorial for beginners 12 days ago. It was inspiring and so I went out and bought beads and wire. I watched a ton of your videos and realized I should have bought different wire and cabochons. I decided if I could muddle through with what I have and I still am interested then I would buy the right stuff. I still like it and I finally have moved through the stage of my hands killing me as I am using new muscles or joints or both! I have done 14 mostly little things. Anything using a bead for sure and a few raw stone pendants ,a pair of earrings. So I really enjoyed this tutorial because I do have antique marbles. I need to find flat backed stones but not sure where to find them. Thank you for continuing to put out videos. My long nose pliers are arriving tomorrow and I think it will really help as turning those wires in has been a real pain lol. For anyone who views this for reference I’m 68. I am tenacious and know practice makes better so I practice ☺️. Thanks again

Glad you liked it! The flat back stones you can find on Etsy or Ebay by searching for "cabochons".

OH I love this. This is so unique. I have a marble where I saved from where my dad made me a marble lamp when I was a little girl. I've been wanting to use it in something but just couldn't find the right design, until now. Thank you for showing this.

Awww I have a bag of clear normal size marbles from my son and I have 9 granddaughters, just maybe. I have arthritis pretty bad, hands are pretty twisted but I will try and they are little. So, maybe I can be forgiven for a few mistakes 🤔 good luck on your. So sweet your daddy made you something, now you will, anyway its so sweet 😋

@@kathyjones274 Thank you. My dad was a carpenter by trade and was constantly making me things. Once he made me a roll top desk, which I still have. Unfortunately, my lamp didn't last as long. Glue dried up and the marbles started falling out and the wire started coming apart. But I kept most of the marbles because they are special. When we would go on trips and stuff, he would find unusual ones and after he had enough, he made the lamp. I hope you can make something special for your grandchildren. I know they will treasure it always. 😉 I hate to hear about your hands though. Mine are trying to act up and I have to stop for a while to let them rest. But whatever you do make, they will love.

Love this cute pendant! Do you have any recommendations on where to get the cord necklace you use in the video? I love the wire from Rio Grande as it's super high quality. I have used suede leather cords before but have difficulty with the findings and closures. Any suggestions?
@OxanaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
My cord necklaces are just pre-made ones I get from Ebay or Amazon, just whatever I can find that is cheapest. They are not high quality, I just like to have a lot on hand to be able to include one free with every order in case the customer doesn't have a chain/cord of their own.
@xtina123072 жыл бұрын
@@OxanaCrafts Okay, that is a good idea. I haven't checked those sites for pre-made necklaces but I will definitely do so. I have to squeeze some time in this week and try this wrap out. Thanks so much & God bless! 🙏🏽💎 😊

Are they round beads? You could use the other video I posted with a marble from last week, it would work if the round stone/bead is large

With it being copper how do you stop it going green
@OxanaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
It darkens over time, but I haven't had it turn green on me, I think the green is when you expose it to rain and such. So maybe keep it dry and clean and it will darken naturally over time to like a dark brown color.
