Another beautiful pendant from the mind of an artist. You are right round wire is much more slippery and fiddly but even with the same basic design it is a different look. My wife said she thinks this one is more feminine looking and I of course immediately agreed. Thank you for sharing your time and abundant talent. Be happy, safe and stay healthy. 😷⚒

🥰🥰🥰 LIKE YOU, I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO HALF ROUND OR SQUARE WIRE EITHER, I HAVE THOUGHT THAT MAYBE IF I FOUND A COUPLE OF SQUARE PIECES OF THIN METAL OR WASHERS (when I was able to get to the big city) THAT I COULD PUT THE ROUND WIRE BETWEEN THE WASHERS AND HAMMER A FLAT SIDE (for the times I needed flat wire but wasn't going to be going to the "big city") IF YOU TRY THIS BEFORE I CAN AND IT WORKS LET ME KNOW, OK👍👍

Thank you for mentioning ALL the problems with that round wire. As a creator myself, I go thru alot of wire due to it slipping and not holding the stones in place. I personally can't stand it but not everyone likes Copper and that's the only square wire I can get. I recently ran into a lil bit Silver Square Wire but it's just not enough to do what I need with everything. Thanks for your tutorial 😊 they really do Help.

Thanks so much for this. I know it's an older video, but it's seemingly impossible to get 1/2 round wire for reasonable prices these days, and when I do find it, it's not the gauge I need, or the type of metal. Copper, yes. Trying this for the first time, I apologize if you've answered this many times before. How do you determine how much base wire to cut?
@OxanaCrafts11 ай бұрын
I usually give measurements in each video I do(in this one I cut the base wires to be 11 inches long), so you can just cut same length as I do. I try to overestimate so even if your stone is a bit bigger it should still be adequate wire length.
@venushester12543 жыл бұрын
This is one of my favorite pieces but my stone wants to pop out to easy. How can I secure it better? Thanks
@OxanaCrafts3 жыл бұрын
Make sure the front most wires are on the domed part of the stone so they trap it in. If your stone is very thick you may need to use more base wires.
