The rapper gets all the credit by fans and the public despite the fact the producer is mostly responsible for 75% of the entire sound

Having read Alice's revelations about the abuse she suffered from Ethan for all those years, this interview takes on a very different vibe. You notice now how she looks at him after every answer she gives, but how he never looks at her. She seeks his approval, constantly. I can only imagine the mental fatigue and stress this kind of relationship caused her. She was always the reason I came to their shows. She was the true star, the powerhouse, and I think he abused her too because he knew that ultimately, she mattered way more than he did or ever could.

You can tell in most of their interviews that he had control over Alice, like didn't let her hardly ever speak. He read a question from a fan directed only to Alice, and he still answered with his opinion after she spoke. I absolutely believe he is the one she was talking about being in a mentally controlling and abusive relationship with. You can see it in these old videos. Like she had so much to say, but she felt she couldn't. It's enlightening. They met when she was around 14/15 and he was 20/21, so I think from early on, it was easy for him to control her because she was young. I am so glad she was finally able to leave this abusive cycle and be free to be herself without judgement. I love their collaborative music, but it's worth losing that for her to be free of his overbearing personality. You're a true musical genius/artist, Ethan, but fuck you! Thank you for being so true to yourself, Alice. You have inspired me and countless other girls to break free from abusive relationships and endless manipulative cycles. Seriously, thank you so much.

Well, the interview in full is on my channel if you wanna read more into it. Things to consider are: from what we know of the Alice narrative, she ran away from home, may or may not have been abused by her father, and was probably in awe of someone like Ethan. That relationship must have taken some really complex turns between professional, personal, brotherly, fatherly and romantic. On the Ethan side, was he a Svengali to Alice? Maybe. It was his band and he treated her more often than not as an instrument in their mixes earlier on, and recognized she was the appeal at live shows. I do not doubt that he manipulated her into being a successful musical act. It's the degree that I doubt, taking into account whom she is dating now. I invite you all to research the Alice x Jupiter relationship. It almost seems like Alice got snatched out of one manipulative relationship directly into another, villainizing Ethan ti propel herself. It's mostly a "he said, she said." All we can do is speculate. Either way, CC moves on, Alice seems to be stalling, and I hope HEALTH didn't really need Jupiter.
